Watercolour Challenge 72 (Patreon)

I hope you enjoyed our introduction to bird painting last week. It's now time to fine tune things a little.

Welcome to all our new Patrons, I hope you're finding your way around my Patreon ok. Don't forget, you can always send me a message if you have any specific questions. Discord is by far the best place for comments and tips on any paintings you've done as a result of the watercolour challenges as you can post your pictures and see how each other are getting on.

If you are new to painting then I highly recommend going back to the first watercolour challenges and working through the first through to get your basic techniques going. Then you can pick and choose whatever you like!

You will need

a few sheets of watercolour paper

your regular watercolour kit, colours I used: Permanent Rose, French Ultramarine Blue, Winsor Blue, Alizarin Crimson but play around and experiment

After watching the video...

Draw these two birds with me and then paint in the basic washes. We will be doing details next time!
