Watercolour Challenge 75 (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Today we begin putting everything together! It's just the pencil sketch stage today. I'm always keen not to overload you and to give you a manageable task to fit around your schedules. If you're keen for more, the best thing I can suggest is keep practising the birds and plants from previous weeks so you are properly ready to go when we paint next week!

Discord is by far the best place for comments and tips on any paintings you've done as a result of the watercolour challenges as you can post your pictures and see how each other are getting on.

If you are new to painting then I highly recommend going back to the first watercolour challenges and working through the first through to get your basic techniques going. Then you can pick and choose whatever you like!

You will need

A piece of watercolour paper, I used 6x8 inches

hb pencil, set square or ruler and an eraser

After watching the video...

create your composition sketch! Remember it's all about creating the curves and basic shapes rather than any detail as we will do all that with the brush!
