Hi everyone, it's not long before my new book A Year of Watercolour is launched in the UK and I thought it might be fun to give you the first look into the book and do a few filmed tutorials over the next two weeks in the run up to its launch.

So without much further ado, watch on and enjoy! I'll list everything needed by showing you the materials list in the book.

I would encourage you to share your work on social media by saying you got an exclusive first look at the book as one of my Patrons! Use the hashtags #ayearofwatercolour #dwpcchallenge

That's a great idea, Harriet. We're all here for the extra tutorials and making publicity for you! I already ordered the book and will receive it in August. Thank you for writing this book for us to enjoy!

Pre-ordered in US. Can't wait. I'm happy we're getting sneak peek tutorials

I love this! Of course I have always loved the flower paintings best, but this one is not that hard to do, but it looks quite complicated when finished. (Is it the tiny hairs that does it??) I can visualize a vase of these in slightly different shades Yay!

I do have a question, in the firts 2 books you say you use DR artist wc, but in your latest tutorial it says W&N pro wc. What did you use in your third book? So I can prepare the right palet.

de Winton Paper co.

Hi Ilona, I use a mixture of both and find both interchangeably very good
