Hey Everyone,A small update. We spent a day this week fixing the Premium (and soon public) RSS feeds for Dark Dice - specifically Season 2. Being a fan and listener should be easy, so we're always looking for ways to optimize your experience.

If you are a new fan, this just means that you'll have a cleaner experience overall! If you're a longstanding one, this is a quality of life improvement for future re-listens... Which you're going to want to do after we release episode 23... ;)

What's new:

We removed or shortened most topical announcements (i.e. "see us at ComicCon next week!" since that event and similar are long over).

We re-recorded the introductions to reflect the episode numbers (i.e. Ep 13 instead of "Ep 2A).

We mastered all of the episodes so they have a consistent volume across the entire season. We worked with 5 different mixing engineers on this story over the years, and Finnur Nielsen has done an amazing job making all their work seamlessly match.

Episode Art was added where it was missing.

The full versions of our April Fool's Day episodes - Wild Sheep Chase & Wizard Battle - are now Patreon Exclusives.

Those on Spotify will only see a single version of each episode. (There was a glitch we fixed that showed duplicate episodes.)

We also finally finished production on our first pen & paper RPG being turned into a physical book - Unnatural Horrors! The PDF's are in the hands of the printer, and we're glad to have the time back so we can get back to Liberty, Dark Dice, and The White Vault: Goshawk.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

This!! The original episode you did of WSC was the final inspiration I needed to try DnD years ago. Downloaded the PDF and it was my first time playing and first as DM & my wife & family’s first time playing also. Now we’re years into a campaign I wrote and numerous off shot one shots etc. even some Chaosium now. So thank you for this! 😊

super random but is that guy on the left supposed to look like jeff goldblum? cuz i have a sticker of this art and that's all i see every time.

Fool & Scholar Productions

This is where we reveal that Jeff Goldblum is on the cast of Dark Dice ;) His character is an Elf named Balmur, who appears in Season 2 (and also the musical)

omg that's awesome. props to the artist! maybe one day i'll get past season 1 but i got creeped out!

Season 2 is a bit less creepy, and each season is (more or less) its own story. If you skip the prologue and jump right into season 2 you should be fine, should that be of interest. We also made a "musical recap" of the entire first season. haha
