Music: VAST Horizon: Final Encounter (Patreon)

The short piece of music that Nolira listens to while washing dishes in Episode 5: Ghosts is actually an original piece of music. A few years ago, a close friend wrote Final Encounter as a goodbye when he left the US to start a new life abroad. It represents new beginnings, while saying goodbye to friends and all things familiar. It felt thematically very appropriate in the context of VAST.

Somewhat ironically, this rendition of the song is a live performance we recorded after my friend returned years later. The photo is from the day of the recording.
