Liberty: Tales from the Tower - Art Showcase (Patreon)
Content
Greetings Citizens,We here at AB3 are pleased to share the following report:
The Department of Public Affairs has approved new artwork & works-in-progress for public viewing. Please enjoy this brief exploration into the visual additions to Atrius' favorite horror audio anthology: Tales from the Tower.
First is a set of three pieces (and some monster concepts) by George Kavallines of the tale For Science - one of the most popular episodes of our show's inaugural season. These early sketches conveyed the horror from different perspectives.
Different designs for the monsters were also explored, with a few expanding beyond even the most effective imaginations within Atrius.
The next series is a set of thumbnails by Allen Morris for the tales Happiness, Excuse Me, and The Tower. Ultimately, thumbnail 3A was selected for the cover of Happiness. The final piece can be seen above as this post's cover image.
K.A. Statz, the writer and co-creator of Tales from the Tower, plays a strong role in the creation of our visual branding. Additionally, she designed the cover for The Narrow. Statz envisioned a dark, minimal design to convey loneliness and the unknown.
K.C. Bailey brought to life the visual poster for the multi-part tale Mines & Mysteries, which features the likenesses of our cast... We had originally planned to release a pen & paper adventure in tandem with the podcast (with more illustrations), but ran into issues with our podcast distribution partner at the time that ultimately saw the book's cancelation.
In 2025 we commissioned the Japanese illustrator はぁに (Hanna) to create a few pieces for the re-release of Liberty: Tales from the Tower into Japanese. She designed four sketches, and we completed two of them: Nightmares & The Narrow.
We look forward to sharing more artwork from our other stories soon!
