Devlog #48 - Pre-Release (Patreon)

Sorry for the delays but I'm just wrapping up the latest update. It will be labeled as 3.3r1 and go out to $25 supporters. As stated in previous logs, this will feature the love route redone for prologue 1. Prologue 2 isn't updated to reflect some of the changes but that will be wrapped up very soon. Also, work on "There's Something About Mary" hasn't stopped. It's progressing and will release after all routes are completely updated. The other two major routes shouldn't take very long. The major scenes that are common to all routes are done. Just specific scenes to each route need to be created which will go very rapidly. The environments, lighting, and characters are all prepared. Just need to render and pose them. I'd say next weekend would be the first of the releases but it'll be sooner. I was trying to release tonight because my trip tomorrow and I MIGHT still make it but I doubt it. I'm shooting the last scene now but I have a last minute travel emergency to Miami, FL for work tomorrow. My rig is massive and there's no taking it with me. ;-)

Production will resume Wednesday evening but I'll be getting back so late it'll probably be Thursday for the uploads to be done and linked here as a release. The next release after this one will be 3.3r2 for $10 supporters (contains Love and MILF/Virgin routes) and then finally the release after that will be 3.3Full which contains everything and will go to all supporters. 3.5 will be finalized and released after that which will continue the "Something About Mary" storyline. Most of which, if not all, will be out this month.

Right then, let's get into this!

Release 3.3r1 Features

Original Prologue 1 had a total of 222 images. We're passing 1200 for just the love route first release. Obviously this is the largest release ever. Thank you for being patient as I know you will really enjoy this.

New backend organization and structure. The new coding backend will prevent storyline conflicts which were a thing unfortunately. They can no longer conflict.

Animations and Animation3.0 tech was used throughout the update. Some of the older scenes that didn't have anim3 tech but people really liked it didn't change significantly. I just updated the renders and poses. I kept the original design style. 72 animation sequences in just Prologue 1 are present. The original animations are still present (minus the horrid flaming butt/balls scene). That was tossed. The original ones with April are still present, they got upgraded visually with anim3 so the color discoloration is no longer an issue.

Storyline scenes are now unique. April seducing you now has new and different scenes than the Romance scenes. Some are common due to the story but there are now unique scenes to each route.

The first block of scenes are all new and feature even younger versions of the characters and how they began this journey. There are options for them. More in follow up release appropriate to their stories. The forever virgin until .3 route is being eliminated. Sorry if you wanted that but it's gone. It caused WAY too many issues. Pick a girl and go for it. ;-)

The walkthrough system can be activated by "w" or "m" keys. They are modal and stop the story so it stops the story.

Music and some sound effects upgrades throughout the story.

The lower screen status tracker for April and Emily has been removed. The new system is nearly ready and the old system created pathing issues due to the variable tracking system. That was replaced entirely and removed from the game.

You have more control over the interactions and history of Emily and April than the original. You also have some interactions with Emily. These are not captured yet in Pro2 content. It will not invalidate that content, it'll just change how it is presented storyline wise in the future updates. It's mainly dialog and coding changes. Very easy stuff to get done once 3.3 Full is completed.

There are more options for impregnation with the additional scenes. The individual routes play a major role here but all routes will have more chances at generating a pregnancy.

The truck drive scenes are now unique to a route. The love route has Emily driving. The MILF/Virgin route has April driving and the final has the MC driving.

Most scene if not all have animated breasts to some extent. Finally. Also the size of the manhood has been reduced to more normal (still well endowed) sizes.

The internal view controller is now working properly. Same with the gallery. I have some more art I want to do for both so I've disabled them in this build since there's no point in holding up a build for things like that.

New AI application, some of my work flow has been relegated to ChatGPT, an AI that can program Renpy without issues. The dialog is still what I write but some of the mundane coding issues I deal with have been given over to this AI. This has greatly increased my ability to produce large sequence scenes without wasting time coding things. I can give ChatGPT an example of a sequence and it codes out the remainder allowing me to focus on core content.
