Devlog #47 Power Overwhelming (Patreon)

As always I'm passionate about keeping all of you up-to-date on how your support is being utilized. It's the right thing to do. The 4090 came in today. It's power setup was a bit of a pain in the butt; however, it fully up and running. I'm literally at a loss how much power I have now.

I did some basic tests with in game scenes. 15min renders with the 3090 are down to 4:20 and 5min renders are down to 1:45. I don't even understand yet how to adjust my work flow to this new capability.

Last night I sent an animation to be rendered and went to bed. Daz had an artifact that affected several frames. I'd normally have to spend hours or a few days to re-render those frames to fix the animation or scrap it all together. I chose to fix it and re-render the entire animation.

50m later it was done. I was blown away.

The update will happen this weekend. I'm still working on efficiently using this new powerful rendering capacity. Saying otherwise would be a lie. This scene is amazing and I can't wait for you to see it.

We've gone from 2s loops to 5s loops to 10+s loops for H-scene content. The sky is the limit now.

So what is done?

The new seduction scene is just about rendered (I needed to do more posing) but wow. It'll likely be the longest and more erotic H-scene in the game. It'll play more like a movie than a renpy game. After that I have some touch ups and some minor pathing fixes going into Prologue 2 so things make sense.

The entire new opening is done. Now is just the pathing content that is new and unique is being incorporated. The new release will be this weekend. I could release earlier but I really need to spend the time to learn the new capabilities on what I can do with this production game-changing improvement. I haven't even tickled the capability I now have. I need to learn how to use and wield it.

Some will agree with this decision, some will not. This is the decision I've made since it will mean more content faster in the long run. I hope you agree.
