Further settling into my new render setup. If I get the right HDR image and ensure the horizon isn't visible, I can still pull off those moody low angle shots. Can definitely use more improvement though.

Next test subject is the Kraken/Bane. Sculpted by Alan Blackwell and cleaned up by me.
Some may call it ugly, but I like it :)

The moody low angle shot can be shared publicly. The rest stay on Patreon please. Enjoy!

GUYS! I NEED ANOTHER MAPSHEET!

I hated the original! I want 5 of these. Great redesign, staying true to what was unique about the model but making it look great and look functional.

That looks sweet. Particularly the legs having that cool slant to them of the original, but not defying physics while doing so. I'd love to get my hands on one and turn it into Bane 2. Should be a simple change to green-stuff one of the barrels in each arm and have four double barrel Ultra AC10s.

I'm really enjoying how as we get more of these updated looks there's starting to be more like, common design elements across the different Mechs that makes them feel more realistic. Like this thing has some elements that look like a Warhammer got super beefy, around the cockpit and the torso. Each chassis is still unique, while also sharing that design language. Good stuff.

NEVA ENUFF DAKKA!!

I love it. I'd be tempted to mod it to add some longer gun barrels to the shoulder guns on a miniature, but that wouldn't fit the 'historical look' very well. (and they're only machine guns) This one clearly fits the original, except for being 100% better in every way. Edit: I'll probably invest in a wider hex base for the mini.

There's the small machinegun angle, and sometimes I also design things in a way to allow other weapons. That pod can easily mount other small direct fire weapons, but also SRM4 variations. Should be pretty easy to jam barrels onto it though.
