Regent Concept Sketch (Patreon)

With the release of Recognition Guide 21 today I can finally show off this design I've worked on. (as things are arranged now, I can't post completely "new to canon" content here before release)

I first sketched up this concept many years ago, but there was never a perfect time to try squeezing it into the game. Now with the Rec Guides introducing new mechs I pushed it forward again and Ray got it wedged in!

The base idea was to combine an Awesome with a Hauptmann, both in looks and in weapons load. I presented it with the classic 3 PPC, but that was toned down to the 3 ERLLs so that the chassis tonnage could be reduced.
But it's still cool to jam that long range punch, the LBX20, and all the supporting weapons in.

This is my first official mech design that wasn't handed down to me. I know that's something that doesn't come around often so it was fun to work on.
