kn brief, there's been a possible medical crisis building for a long time, and I & others have been trying very hard to avert it, but the healthcare system in this country has powerfully disincentivized anyone to help me, and the odds of heading off this crisis before it occurs are looking worse & worse

it's not decided yet; I & others are still trying to prevent it; I'm being opaque about it not to cultivate any goddamn mystique – disgusting beyond words – but because I'm not thrilled with the amount of my penetralia already accessible online (the top 2 searches for my name, I was recently told, are "[name] + illness" and "[name] + disability")

I say this all to let you know that I'll keep the show as regular and "normal" as it can be, but we may be looking at a very fuckin' ugly rest of 2022
