The Baxxid, "Panic! The humans will think us all bloodthirsty monsters!" Humans: "Ah, good riddance to bad rubbish! What were we talking about before that guy got spilled?" Alternatively, "a human changes the sign, days since last thief got disemboweled from 01 back to 00." Extra alt: A guard whos been bored for a week hears about the thief and comes running with his murder sword. Lets out a defeated sigh when they see the corpse, "of course the new guy gets to have all the fun..."

Oh no things have happened :O - Baxxid

Russet

Humans: "Oh no! Anyway..."

kurogetsui

We humans tend to occupy ourselves with doing the occasional thing every now and then. An unfortunate habbit of ours

Russet

The funny part is the Baxxid are for sure going to say it was an accident because they think killing on purpose is the worst thing. And that is 100% going to freak the humans out way more, because taking a guys head off on purpose is a thing they all know a Baxxid could do, but on accident? Suddenly everyone's gonna stay 10 feet back at all times in case they turn wrong, the idea that a clumsy baxxid can tear you in half without meaning to is legit terrifying.

MysteryCryptid

Gosh this is going to be terrifying and I am so invested

That Harper Gal

Oh, I hope they can fix this without anyone else getting hurt.

Vodyanoi Serpens' House of Magical Wonders

Humans: "We want to give him a medal and make him an official Human-Killer, for our killing-humans needs. We need to do that more often than one might think."

valsalia

Baxxid: "They are happy about this BUT THEY SHOULDN'T BE"

valsalia

They can't make the :O face as they do not have lips!

valsalia

"Humans doing things" has resulted in a lot of weird stuff, like the Renaissance

valsalia

And that is EXACTLY THE TRUTH. : |

valsalia

How do you expect to fix things without hurting people!!

valsalia

Humans always need humans killed!

Shyster

Humans are at fault most of the time.....

This is the part where I fear poor Kalgkur gets "sold upriver" as a guard on a long term posting. Instinct tells me the Baxxid and Viracroix will decide to say that this was intentional justice and not an accident, because control of public perception is valuable. On the bright side, maybe Kass gets an awkward boneworm guard?

Vet

Kal will need comforting. He will bear the responsibility of his actions greatly….and she is right. He was distracted by his human friend which put him in an awkward position to react. But I put blame on the Guards themselves for putting a rookie with large dangerous appendages out there in a crowded area by himself. They probably thought his size and such would be a deterrent….a bull guarding a china shop. Things are going to get broke.

John Hartman

This one wears black. We didn't get much explanation on what it means, other than being told to avoid and not engage. Makes me wonder if they are a bunch of folks who'll blame non baxxid for everything.

Nulgar

Humans: "Humans. What a bunch of bastards."

Faraday Cage

when bone worms are concerned

Richard Weir

*hand up* Me! I know! Use school glue! Stick things together! Um... Might not work for the dead human though...

jay maechtlen

Since they have - essentially, deadly weapons - always, they really should be trained in how to use force around humans without causing more harm than intended. Training is essential!

ComicTF

Thinking of the cover of "Oh, the Places You’ll Go!", but it's just Kalgkur covered in blood
