Weird way to get glue.

Badviper

Gonna add a baxxid other than the diplomat to the list of permanent characters? ✨️

Ryusui

i love how the little guy is feeling UNCOOPERATIVE today XD

CompletelyNewguy

It’s the work of a brute but don’t let that stop you from taking pride in it!

Atamis

I should be disgusted but I am only more intrigued.

John C Butler

Looks like little glue bug was getting ready to spray glue all over the gaurdsman. Gotta be frustrating. Here you are with a nicely evolved defense mechanism against predators, and some giant hairless monkeys come along, stick you in casserole dish, and exploit your awesome disabling spray as glue.

Nulgar

Is this assignment still part of their punishment for the ruckus?

Sesra

.... Why do I imagine zhe intermission between zhe previous post and zhis one wizh zhe voice of John Cleese saying, " And now for somezhing completely different! " *ponder*

Caerdwyn

Some day we'll tell you where honey, Jello and the adhesive used to make high-end violins/guitars comes from. And civet coffee.

Vet

Slug glue!

valsalia

A lot more convenient than grinding up horse feet, at least!

valsalia

Ohhhh he's been a main character for a while now, just nobody knows it yet!

valsalia

He hates everyone and everything

valsalia

Take pride in thy brutefulness

valsalia

Humans have a way of absolutely loving something nature created to be lethal to its competitors and scare away predators. See: Peppers, caffeine, basically every kind of spice

valsalia

That's definitely the kind of narrative pivot that just happened!

valsalia

Humans' total weirdness has been a major contributing factor to our dominance of the planet

John C Butler

I like that in the case of peppers, capsaicin apparently doesn't bother most birds. It's like chillies said, "Screw you land dwelling herbivores, we want our seeds spread by things that can fly." And then we go and eat them anyway.

John C Butler

And from what we've seen, not a lot of horse feet to be had.

Russet

Hit him right in the gloobark.

Russet

It was a lot easier when you could find a dead horse on every street corner. The good old days, back when beating a dead horse wasn't just a saying, it was a daily occurrence!

Varyon

This punishment detail certainly sounds like it may be putting him Out of Place, so that fits...

Varyon

A good relevant quote I read once (might be paraphrasing): "Humans have this weird thing where they think food is bland if it doesn't have enough poison in it."

valsalia

You need to know where it is for that job

Caerdwyn

We have eaten and perved our way to the top of the food chain. To the cockroaches: "Hey man, you gonna finish that?" Cockroach: "Gross! Hell no! I've got standards!" To the spider monkeys: "Hey man, you gonna hump that?" Spider monkey: "No way, I... um, could you maybe not look at me like that..?"
