I just felt like commenting because you talked a lot about making timeless content, and even though I know this was not the intention for this simple Q&A, the episode is very enjoyable until this day. I was entertained for every single minute, thank you for sharing. I know its been a while, but hey, congrats on the PhD! I’m really glad I started being part of your Patreon community, a small pledge that already paid off with all the knowledge and fun I’m getting back. Proud to support you!

That brazilian poem gave me the chills! What a bomb.

This was a great listen, thx for your time Sam

Thanks for answering my question, I must've overestimated how many you'd get and didn't expect you'd answer all of them. I was only partially joking about the type line, there's so much to talk about! I was thinking more in the direction of summons to creatures, mono\poly\continuous artifacts, world enchantments, and the grand creature type update. There's tons of history here that I'd love to hear you talk about :D

Great listen, on the Carvaggio bit, I think you'd rather enjoy the play Seven Acts of Mercy, it's an exploratory story about Caravaggio fleeing from Rome mixed with a contemporary story about a father and son. Also going to the Van Gogh exhibit on the 6th here in Chicago, even more excited for it now!

Thanks so much, Sam. Congratulations on this big next step—and may many good futures come to you.

Talking about the Black Lotus video, you mentioned making it for people who aren't involved in Magic. I showed the video to my parents, who have no connection to the game other than being "that game my son plays," and they were entranced. You did what you set out to do, and you did it very well.

I wish I was a patron for this! Speaking of white whale projects, I think it would be awesome to have a archive of references in the time spiral block. Resleeveables podcast episodes on them Is probably a good place to start if you where interested. I’ve never signed up for patrion before but I’m so glad I did, thanks for all you do
