Help pick the Adventure movie we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

*NOTE: I have seen Big Fish so this would only be Sam's first time watching! Sam has seen The Neverending Story, so this would only be my first time watching!

ShadowVessel π

The Count of Monte Cristo even has a little Henry Cavill. 😊

Renee S

Yes! Rooting for the Count of Monte Cristo :)

Will Zamora

Life of Pie and Barry Lyndon are two of my all time favorites

Keith Brown

The Treasure of Sierra Madre -CLASSIC - Bogart reteams with director John Huston (The Maltese Falcon). Huston's father Walter Huston won the Oscar for his role as did John Huston for this movie ! First time Father/Son won for same movie !

Tinker

Into the Wild is THE ULTIMATE adventure film, as it's a true story!!

dieselbeast

The Gorge went straight to apple tv which is unfortunate, it deserved a theatrical release, Miles Teller and Ana Joy Taylor were Gold

Future Boy

My favourite adventure film, by far, is The Edge (1997). I've chosen it many times in the monthly draw, including this most recent month. I wonder if it's not on this poll because I won the spin wheel but you haven't told us yet? (yes, I'm an optimist!!!)

Florian Meier

Great Poll, i would say "The Ghost and The Darkness" with Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer and "The Edge" with Anthony Hopkins is missing ... But all Films in the Poll are good

Florian Meier

The Edge would also be my Pick for Adventure followed by The Ghost and The Darkness !!! I really hope you won The Spin ;)

Smooticus

Haha, Oh Brother Where Art Thou. The Coen Brothers do the Odyssey. A truly fun movie

Future Boy

I hope YOU win the spin, because I think you usually choose The War of the Roses!

EdmanXERO

Neverending Story is a classic childhood favorite of mine. But Willow is also the same. Haha. I hope one of them wins.

Animal Citizens Photography

The Naked Prey (1965). Absolutely underrated film that is a thrilling chase film and feels more genuine than most Hollywood pictures about wild Africa from that time.

John Fitzpatrick

If you have The Wages of Fear, you need to have Sorcerer on this list, too.

Michael Rutter

Fingers crossed for Coco. I would love to see them react to a Pixar movie.

Chris Bruneau

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) is an underrated gem-- its fantastic!!! I hope even it doesn't win, Dan and Sam watch it someday!

Shehab Dawoud

This was never a contest tbh. People know how much you love The Coen Brothers. Easy decision.

Boris-N

Fitzcarraldo (1982)

Boris-N

Please distinguish between fantasy and adventure.

Eddy

Ok this list? You're gonna have to watch ALL of them!!

Antmovies

Oh Brother is probably the worst movie on this list. I went with Treasure of the Sierra Madre. I gotta say this is the weirdest group of movies that are supposed to be the same genre.

Antmovies

I will vouch for THE NAKED PREY. An absolute 10/10. I would say what newer movies it had to have inspired but I don't want to spoil it.

ElmSt Reactions

Neverending story for me, love that movie

Michael Buhl

YES!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent choice!!!

Michael Buhl

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there may be films as beautiful as Barry Lyndon, but there are no films more beautiful than Barry Lyndon.

ron clint

Willow beating Wages of Fear? A puzzle...lol

Lou@Jersey

Moby Dick (1956) 🐋

James

The Count of Monte Cristo!!! Why isn't this winning???

YoureMrLebowski

The Edge is excellent. What one Schmitthead can do, another can do!

f hf

I was hoping Excalibur would be on here

Steve Mercier

Coen brothers...always the Coen brothers (except for The Ladykillers...bleck!).

Toc

FANTASTIC movie.

Toc

More like ANYTHING beating Wages Of Fear!

Toc

For the next time you guys do an adventure poll: "The Man Who Would Be King" with Sean Connery and Michael Caine, 1974. You guys will LOVE that one.

Birdie Num Num

That's one of my favorites. It has been on one poll before - in Feb '24 and didn't do very well. Doubt many here have seen it. I think the only chance for it to be reacted to is the spin wheel.

Toc

Yeah, you're probably right. Hey people: go watch "Man Who Would Be King", that's one of the great adventure movies! Sean Connery and Michael Caine....in 1974. If that doesn't motivate you, you need your head checked, lol.

Birdie Num Num

the reacting audience is dominated by gen x/older millennials. many here probably saw Willow a lot as a kid. nostalgia is a hell of a drug. I also saw and liked it as a kid, but would never vote for it. I'm a lot less nostalgic than most Gen x'ers...

Forrest

Ernest & Celestine (2012) - would be a very unique film to your channel

Forrest

Surprised Into the Wild doesn't have more votes to be honest!

James

I've been recommending The Edge for two years

Carol Rocha

O, BROTHER! What a movie!!! 😊❤️❤️ let’s go!

Aaron Barlow

With how good the TV shows and movies were from our childhood, its hard not to be nostalgic. It is weird though that gen z views movies in the early 2000s as 'old' lol. It makes me realize how old I am.

Birdie Num Num

Looking at past adventure polls Willow, Neverending Story and Stardust have been on every poll. I get 80s nostalgia drives the first 2, but I wonder how Stardust got in there? It does poorly in every poll. There were a lot of repeats throughout the polls - The Edge , 13th Warrior, Time Bandits, Dragonheart (guess fantasy is really popular around here - feels like that should be a separate poll).

Paul Cox

Stardust has some sort of millennial resonance that I know nothing about. Maybe it played a lot on HBO or something? Same deal with About Time, another movie I thought just came and went but actually seems important to a lot of people.

David W.

I guess About Time manages to hit different people on different quadrants. Some saw the evil potentials of the brain type time travel, others saw a genuine case of a guy learning to be a good man, etc.

David Wilkins

I’m way beyond pleased that O Brother will finally get a showing, at least the way the count is going. That makes up for a lot of the series programming I don’t watch. 😶

YoureMrLebowski

Hello? Not one like for Pain & Gain? 🙁
