O Brother Reaction There Art Thou!

Philip Davetas

The Coens have always been hit or miss for me. I know I'm supposed to like everything they do, but I don't.

Marcus Cato

I seem to like it more than the average Coen Brothers fan, but what's really special about it is the soundtrack. It really gave a lot of lesser-known artists a chance to shine.

Smooticus

Another great week coming up. BCS is about to get pretty heartbreaking, and Oh Brother Where Art Thou is right up there with Big Lebowski for fun. Brush up on your Homer

Paul Cox

You don't have to. I consider myself a fan and I still freely hate on The Ladykillers, Intolerable Cruelty, and Hail Caesar.

John DiGiantomasso

Homer's Odyssey for the Modern Man!!! This one needs full reaction to capture all the songs!

Mr. Chumpus

Better Call Saul is coming to an end soon. What will be taking it's place???

PIG

I'm still banking on The Wire :)

Lynette Cummins

I believe this is the last season of BCS. Plase consider adding Peaky Blinders to you next series poll. 🍀

Kevin Charley

Soon meaning the next 15 minutes?! That's all the waiting I can take over here.

Marcus Cato

The Wire would complete my list of favorite shows.

Mr. Chumpus

The Wire is one of those shows that somehow fell through the cracks and I missed when it came out. Many years later I watched one or two seasons, but never finished, so I would def watch with the Schmittheads!

PIG

I would have missed it too if it wasn’t for Terry Gross and Fresh Air on NPR. She interviewed one of the actors (Snoop, she’s in the later seasons) and I had to see it.

QuiGon_Jim

Have they seen 'Barry'?

QuiGon_Jim

'Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?' Is one of my favourites! I used to play some of the soundtrack to get my nephew to sleep when he was was a wee baby. Genuinely can't wait.

Mr. Chumpus

Yep. Pretty sure they watched it on their own without recording

Shehab Dawoud

We’re going on 3 months with only 1 movie a week. Any hope of your schedule becoming easier so it’ll go back to normal?🙏🏻

Marcus Cato

Those are three Coen movies I haven't watched because some gut feeling tells me that they aren't particularly good.

Marcus Cato

Especially appropriate given one the song lyrics, "go to sleep, little baby". 😊

QuiGon_Jim

That was one of songs I played the most.. but it was 'Big Rock Candy Mountain' that he would nod off to more often!

Jeffrey Miller

It'll be like the 4th time I've watched The Wire lol

David

first time watching harry potter and the goblet of fire reaction and best for luck

David Wilkins

REALLY looking forward to O Brother. And looking forward to more Coens in general, whether drawing or poll.

PIG

I hear ye, Mr. Miller. Perhaps the twenty fifth for me lol And I still don’t know all the ins-and-out because of its complexity.

Will D

any update on BCS for this week?

TBR Schmitt

Ooh love when it's a first time for all of us!

TBR Schmitt

Not yet! We're working on it though! -Sam

Will D

I make things happen!! lol
