It always drove me crazy that Howard didn't have his therapist vouch for him and as you mentioned do a drug test as well. It obviously doesn't ruin the story or anything, but I can't help but think of how Howard could have save his reputation.

When I watched this episode originally, it had been a long time since I had seen season 4 with Werner and all the German engineers. So when the scene started in the bar with people speaking German, I was checking to make sure that I didn't accidentally change the channel or something. And then we hear Lalo's voice!

One thing I *can* say is: don't forget, Mike told Kim about Lalo with the note that he was telling her and not Jimmy because he didn't think Jimmy could handle the stress. So, while I agree that Kim should warn Jimmy, there is an unspoken understanding that his opinion is that she should keep it to herself.

Jimmy's little quip to Howard "I could have been a contender." Is a reference to the Marlon Brando monolog in the classic film On The Waterfront. Perfect for Jimmy to say that because he and Kim are such classic movie buffs.
