Seeing a double winner is great,as it only shows and highlights the integrity and trustworthiness of Daniel&Sam. You could easily see a case where some channels/people would have just spun again behind closed doors,just to not rock the boat with people that have not won yet. So the fact that Daniel&Sam have yet again,proven to be totally transparent,is a great credit to them and their upbringing

I have heard of Hot Rod, but have never watched it. Congrats Gary on the win. That's some luck there. You wouldn't think there would be a double winner at all with how many Patreon people. Even though it took a year to be a double winner, you still would think it wouldn't happen.

Congrats to Garry. However, I suggest a 18-month moratorium is put in place for all winners. In other words, once you've won you can't participate in the coming 18 months. Everybody should have a shot.

I would support an 18 month ban. On Popcorn in Bed, if you win, you can never play PAF again, maybe that's too harsh, lol.

I think 12 months is enough (possibly just 6 months) for not allowing a repeat. The odds are quite slim of it happening anyway. If it happens, then there could be an immediate re-spin of the wheel. But removing a winner longer term would be more like punishment, and reduce the incentive for that person to even remain a member of the tier.

Back when the spin wheel was kind of new, there was a little bit of a discussion about WHAT IF someone ever won twice, and I just said that if that ever happened to me I'd hang it up. Two wins is all I'd feel comfortable with when over a hundred people are trying to win every month. But the only standing rule currently is that when you win you can't play the following month.

Doesn't PAF have like over 300 people playing every month? Winning the Schmitts' spin wheel twice is wild enough, but winning PAF twice would be some mindbending luck. Still, a permaban after one win feels extreme lol.

I don't mind it when one of them has already seen a particular film (and it's even more fun when Sam has seen the film and Daniel hasn't, because then they trade places for all the intro/outro parts). Anyway, Sam always jumps into the submissions comment thread to let patrons know when they've both seen something.

No lie, when I saw MacGruber in the theater I laughed so hard at the [redacted] scene I nearly blacked out. The very boring friends of a friend (and that friend too) were far less amused by the whole experience.

After I won in September I didn’t participate for 6 months. It was a self imposed ban, but after 6 months I wanted to participate again because it’s fun.

I’ve read other comments about repeat winners of the drawing, and I even replied to one, indicating support for longer exclusion after a win. But after more thought…I don’t think it’s necessary. It would add a layer of headache for Sam and Dan, and I just don’t think it’s going to happen very often. Even with this example, it’s been about a year. So, roll the dice or spin the wheel, some very few people will just get lucky.

One win is exciting. Two wins is a freak accident, but the winner should enjoy themselves guilt-free. Three wins? Your jersey needs to be retired. The odds are so astronomically against that ever happening, but if it did it would just be the decent thing to do.

would love to see a complete list of all the movies in the poll. every time you show the google doc, I pause to see some of the titles. I'm curious what films get the most votes - I noticed Get Shorty and The Best Years of Our Lives each got 2 votes in that brief flash of the doc.
