Aww I was hoping it would be either Bond (gigantic commitment, so I get it) or Alien (people have split opinions on practically every movie after Aliens), so Mission Impossible (🤞) is a decent choice.

That's good to hear,hope it's the mission impossible movies, some of the later ones are great. I've actually watched from 4 onwards and just decided to do the first 3. I'll hold off if you're doing them on the channel.

The James Bond series is probably best to break up into increments -- all the Connery/Lazenby movies, then all the Moore movies, then all the Dalton/Brosnan movies, and finally all the Craig movies.

With WHMS, you've now reacted to all of Rob Reiner's unimpeachable 1984-92 directorial run with the exception of The Sure Thing. It's a much better film than you might guess from the poster or the logline. Not saying you should set other stuff aside to watch it right now, but maybe sometime in 2026 we'll get lucky.

I know it stops being sequential, because of the notoriously bad North (1994), but I think many would also incorporate The American President (1995) into the list of great Reiner films.

Yeah, for the most part I assume the things on the schedule have already been filmed. I don't know if that's *always* the case, but it does seem to be the case most of the time.

Of course, most of his films after "The American President" aren't very good, so he technically made more medicore-to-lousy ones than really good ones. 😕 "Spinal Tap II" is good for what it is, though. For what it's worth, "The Sure Thing" is sort of a loose remake of the 1935 Best Picture Oscar winner, "It Happened One Night."
