Fallout Season 2 Episode 6 'The Other Player' Full TV Reaction!!

Alex

I just realized this but Betty was in the room when the guy said that they will get to choose who runs out of water. Which means that she knew the water chip was going to fail.

Donna Castellano

I thought the chip was damaged during the Raider attack after Lucy's wedding? It's been a while since I've seen the first episode tho.

Alex

I dunno. They made it a point to say in that meeting that the water chips have a 30% (or whatever) fail rate and they will know which ones will fail. It points to the water chip failure in 33, otherwise why would that be in the show that they have a failure rate? If it was damaged by the raiders then that's kind of irrelevant info to share and there's no other vaults we know of where the water chip failed.

TBR Schmitt

Yes! I'm not sure how to take this because I also thought it was damaged then, but it would be quite the coincidence with the conversation that Betty notetakers on! -Sam

Alex

Sam: Yeah I'd have to rewatch the episode in the beginning to see if they specifically said it was damaged in the skirmish. Donna: If you know which episode it is where this is said would be really helpful.
