Help pick the Comedy movie we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

*NOTE: I have seen all films noted with an asterick, so this would only be Sam's first time watching!

Comments

Dan Holmes

Great poll watch a bunch of these please! That thing you do should be watched regardless and is much more than a comedy

Roy Wright

This is a crazy stacked poll. I quote Three Amigos and Stripes on a regular basis.

iliketostayhome

Loved That Thing You Do as a kid. There was a longer cut I saw on TV years later. I recommend the theatrical version.

dieselbeast

For the next poll, Beverly Hills Ninja starring Chris Farley, I believe Daniel has seen it but that's ok lol

Paul Cox

Is it safe to assume Tommy Boy is stashed in your rainy day reaction idea pile already?

Florian Meier

Good Poll !!! But "As Good As it Gets" and "Overboard" should be on there ... But all good ones

Chris

A Pineapple Express and Harold & Kumar double feature would go so hard 😂

Dan

I doubt Old School will win but I have to pull for it anyway. You're my biy, Blue!!

Samolina Pilchard

I suggest Ruthless People (1986) for a future poll

Jax

Such an underrated gem. It's actually hard to find it online

Lamar Savage

Some great films on here, but trust me, you HAVE to watch The Odd Couple!

Lee Brennan

So disappointed to see Old School not performing well, but hopefully y'all still react to it in the future. I'll be thoroughly happy with Three Amigos, Naked Gun or Stripes. Sadly, Idiocracy feels more like a documentary than a fictional comedy movie at this point 😅

mikethemotormouth

Men in Tights is best appreciated after Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

Scott

Bowfinger (1999) Excellent but kinda overlooked Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin comedy

Gary

Dirt rotten scoundrels is very good and The three amigos is pretty decent too.

Chris Baldwin

Am I the only person who has heard of/seen "Death to Smoochy"??? What the hell??

Ray Johnson

Stripes is Bill Murray's best movie by the way!!!

Michael Buhl

For the next comedy poll I recommend The In-Laws (1979) and Death at a Funeral (2007). Both these movies have been remade, but I haven't seen either remake, so I can't recommend them.

Michael Bauer

So I saw the title Stripes 1981, and thought to myself, I don't know that one at all. So I looked it up, and here in Germany the film is called "I think I'm being smooched by a moose." For whatever reason. 🤪😁 yeah yeah, we germans like to translate it our way sometimes. 😏

Smooticus

I dunno. Meatballs is pretty up there

Smooticus

The 2 funniest on the list, IMHO

Smooticus

More Neil Simon needs to make these lists. Biloxi Blues is sadly overlooked

Smooticus

Weird to see a comedy poll that's not overloaded with Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Jack Black, Will Farrell, and/or Jim Carrey

Duncan

Suggestion for a future poll (Thriller/Crime) ''Nightcrawler (2014)'' Jake Gyllenhaal ,Bill Paxton Rotten Tomatoes 95% / IMDb 7.8/10

Paul Cox

They've both seen it (prior to the channel).

Duncan

😞 thank you sir ✌

Forrest

Robin Hood: Men in Tights is so up their alley and is a film I watched one too many times as a kid. lol Was looking up some of the other films, but as soon as I saw that listed, I just had to select it.

fire12wife

That Thing You Do! (1996) is an incredible movie! This was Tom Hanks' directorial debut. He wrote the script and the music for it, too! It's one of my husband's and my favorite movies to watch together. Such a great cast. Loved Tom Everett Scott, Steve Zahn, and Liv Tyler in this movie. I hope you get around to watching it someday... you both will love it!

mikethemotormouth

Seconding Death at a Funeral. Alan Tudyk is fantastic as always

Taya

I've seen it lol

Bill Woods

For future reference, submarine comedies, a very specialized sub-genre: Down Periscope (1996) -- Kelsey Grammer has to "think like a pirate". The Russians are Coming, the Russians are Coming (1966) -- Alan Arkin invades Carl Reiner's summer vacation island. Operation Petticoat (1959) -- Cary Grant and Tony Curtis in the early days of WW2.

Nixonsghost

Cant forget about Wedding Crashers!

Alex

Police Academy is a must. Only movie I voted for. Best movie on this list. Super classic.

Ken Veader

Harlem Nights directed by and starring Eddie Murphy with a great ensemble cast would definitely be a great comedy for you guys to react to

Ken Veader

Weekend at Bernies, Police Academy and Three Amigos are the 3 quintessential 80's classic comedies on this list, all 3 must see's

Ed Nunez

I have 2 suggestions The Cable Guy and King Pin both very funny

Vincent Hollow

Death to Smoochy is great. Robin Williams is so unhinged in it, I love it

penoyer79

Harold and Kumar is the correct answer. so many naked gun fans...

Chris Baldwin

The cast is great. You have Edward Norton; Robin Williams and Danny DeVito acting and directing. It was a sad day when Robin left. The film "The Angriest Man In Brooklyn" was the last released while Robin was still alive. The best line in that movie is "FFFFFFFFFUCK OFF!". LOL If you know you know. Anyway, thanks for letting me know I'm not the only fan of Smoochy.

Max Rinaldi

Oh, you fellas saw only the first Naked Gun?

Brandon Meng

There are so many bangers and must see movies here that it makes me wonder why or how y'all get lost watching some of the random old movies you show on this channel 😅

David Martin

They may be "random old movies" to you, but that's just your opinion. Not everyone shares your tastes.

Donna Castellano

I’ve seen it. Even tho it has one of my favorite actors in it - Ed Norton - I didn’t like it as much as I wanted to. And I love black comedies.

Donna Castellano

Idiocracy has been a documentary for at least the last 20 years.

Indy Traveler

For future comedy polls: Foul Play with Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn and Outrageous Fortune with Bette Midler and Shelley Long... anybody ... ?
