Sunset Boulevard👏🎞📽🎬🤌

Backlog Andy M.

Only watched Sunset BLVD last year for the first time!

Joe J

Shaolin Soccer...bro. 😆

Stephen Malloy

Sunset Boulevard is an all time Hollywood classic. A take on the inner workings of Hollywood in the post WWII era. And a terrific cast, especially silent film star Gloria Swanson, who had a real life affair with Joseph P. Kennedy Sr., father of the future President.

Florian Meier

Yes Sunset Boulevard !!! And Perfect Timing for a football movie ... Who are you're favorites Daniel and Sam? As a German i say France, Spain or Germany ;)

Shehab Dawoud

Can’t wait for Sunset Boulevard, legit one of the greatest films of all time. I’m guessing Shaolin Soccer is because of the World Cup? I appreciate the gesture but.. it wouldn’t have been at the top of my list. My #1 would’ve been Escape to Victory with Stallone, Michael Caine and the late great PELÉ!

Tyler Foster

Just shot you a Discord message about Shaolin Soccer (a movie with two cuts), if you haven't reacted to it yet. Also, still crossing my fingers that if you loved Sunset Boulevard, you go for double the Billy Wilder and react to the second-place winner Double Indemnity as well, as that is equally great (and while both are masterpieces, I do think DI is maybe more what one pictures when they try to imagine what a film noir is like compared to SB).

EdmanXERO

"Alright, Mr. Schmitt, I'm ready for my close-up." Also, I've never actually seen Shaolin Soccer before, so I'm looking forward to it!

Keith Brown

Sunset Blvd. -has the director and actor reteamed from Stalog 17. You must do a deep dive into Billy Wilder movies. He also wrote many classics from the 1930's before he was allowed to both write and direct his movies in the 1940's . Check out his full resume please !

Look out, Arbogast!

Nominated this so many times on the poll, feels like I won the drawing 😊 My fellow Sunset heads, we won!

Joe Consumes Cinema/Books

Shaolin Soccer is one of the funniest films ever made. That English dub work is the most perfect voice casting in existence.

Paul Cox

Again with the lack of variety?? 🤣

Marcus Cato

Really looking forward to some classic noir. Perhaps one day we will get Kiss Me Deadly, Touch of Evil, and the Third Man. (And yes, I know there is debate about what makes a true noir 😂)

Michael SCH

Nice to see you're doing a reaction to Hong Kong cinema! There are tons of HK films that make for good reactions - an untapped niche, IMHO! Infernal Affairs, A Better Tomorrow, Hard Boiled, The Killer etc etc Also, Sunset Boulevard? A+++!
