Nice work, Jon! Haven't even heard of that one, but I'm down for some Tony Todd!

EdmanXERO

Man that was a win by a micrometer. XD Congrats Jon!

Stephen Malloy

Never heard of this movie, but considering the track record of the Spinnerooni wheel, it sounds very intriguing.

Backlog Andy M.

Congrats Jon. No never heard of this one!

Ralph Blaser

One of my favorites. Seen it a few times.

Jimbob

I’ve tried to watch this film twice. It’s a very interesting choice for the channel.

ButtercupsTrueLove

This is a good one. It was recommended to me years ago and I watched it not knowing anything about it.

"Man From Earth" is a thinking man's science fiction. No space, no blasters, no explosions. Just a study of Humans and their place in history and life. I think you'll like it. I certainly do as I've got it in my collection.

Jax

Congrats, Jon!

Amper Sand

It's a great movie by its twist - please no spoilers. worth watching "blindly" - thanks Jon, great choice!

Jon

Awesome! This is definitely a risky movie for a reaction channel, but I think you both will like it.

Cliff Adams

Fine exploration of a science fiction concept. Do not destroy its beauty by watching the sequel.

Mark Ultimatemusings

Congratulations Jon! It’s such a fantastic movie. Awesome choice!

Michael SCH

Darn it! So close!!! In any case, congrats to Jon!

I hope that you like this as much as I liked it. A rare "thought exercise" movie. If you do like this, I hope that "The Sunset Limited (2011) will get watched at some point. A similar premise.

Roy Wright

Never seen that one will need to do the watch along

For any patrons in the US who have a library card and their local library offers Kanopy and/or Hoopla, Man From Earth is available on both platforms. 🤓

Jason

More garbage 😕

OMG!!! That's like the 4th or 5th time I've been one off!!! I really hope you get to see my movie, Overboard (1987)! I've only submitted that, or Backdraft (1991) all of these months and years! One day, right?!?!? ....one day!

Miles E Coburn

I second that. Although it didn't "ruin" the first one for me, I'm more leery of sequels now.

Funny, I just saw this movie two weeks ago. Until a couple days before that, I had never heard of it. Premise sounded interesting. Then when I started, within the first few minutes there were several reasons that made me think, ok maybe this is not what I hoped for, don't know if I'll really enjoy it. But interestingly enough, despite every valid points of criticism you could raise against this very low budget work, it somehow kept me interested up until the end. Whenever I thought, well maybe it gets a bit boring or too predictable now, something new came up and brought my curiosity back. So I am in fact really looking forward to see what you think about it, because as of right now, I don't know about anybody in my circle of acquaintances who has seen this one and could talk about it ;)

Cannot wait! Congratulations again, Jon! -Sam

Hi Jason, I'm going to kindly ask for you to ease up on the negativity here. Many of your last comments have been unhappy with our selections, which is fine, but this is a patron's personal pick and we'd appreciate you being respectful of their choice. Thanks! -Sam

Overboard is my favorite RomCom, Sam and Daniel will love it

It'll be a movie they watch over and over again... and instantly go on their favorites list!
