Omg I remember watching this in college and I just rewatched it this past year for the first time. Such a great concept and setup for what otherwise feels like a great student film lol but I still love it. I would love to see this remade with an A-list cast.

For me, the movie was not about him, but about the others there - and not about proving, but about questioning. And I was on Sam's side, I mean I believed him because the believing factor was said at the beginning of the movie. Overall, a pleasure to rewatch it, great reaction. Thanks Jon!

...and therein lies the problem IF the Son of God were to reappear on Earth. If some were to believe an individual, whether a man or woman, were sent from God they would be either co-opted to take advantage of a built-in following, or imprisoned and possibly subjected to experiments to learn the extent of their capabilities by those in power who felt threatened by their existence. I don't think our reaction is to try to injure a person or subject them to invasive testing against their will if they make claims of immortality. We can believe or disbelieve the person, or pose questions as John Oldman's colleagues did in the movie. He can't actually prove he is Jesus or even that he is just a being who has lived and walked the Earth for 14,000 years but likely neither can we disprove without witnesses or verified photographic documentation of him having lived virtually unchanged decades ago.

I was so surprised Daniel didn’t believe him haha -Sam
