I'm never going to get in this drawing, so can someone pick "Little Big Man" (1969).

Paul Cox

Heyyyyyyy, I've been waiting for someone to react to this! Congratulations, ZoeLo!

Robert H

Another great movie! Congrats to the winner

Paul Cox

Also, I think I was only 4 or 5 ticks away this time. D'oh!

Shehab Dawoud

Good pick! I don't think I've seen a reaction to it yet. Directed by James L. Brooks who's also been a writer and executive producer for The Simpsons since it started. After this, I hope you'll check out As Good As It Gets (1997), also with Jack Nicholson.

EdmanXERO

Congrats, ZoeLo!

Terms of Endearment was an unexpected sleeper hit when it came out. Excellent 1980s era movie. Unsolicited advice: Keep a tissue box next to you.

2026-09-06 22:00 Terms of Endearment is a big 80's. By that I mean it was big in terms of impact.

Perfect Pick !!! This is one of the classics in waited so long for a reaction of you guys !! Different then my War of the Roses :) but you will love it

Florian Meier

Yes !!! As Good As it Gets is such a great film !!!

Paul Cox

Big is an understatement, 5-time Oscar winner including Best Picture.

Toc

Little Big Man gets requested all the time, hang in there, they'll get to it.

Toc

WOW! At last!!!! This is one of those movies that I can't believe has seldom/never been reacted to. (Another early 80s Oscar-winning, made-for-a-reaction-video movie, Sophie's Choice, is another. I think it was the year before, in fact!). VERY psyched that ZoeLo picked this one!! Can't wait!!! You guys are going to LOVE it!!!!!!!

Byrd N. Hand

My dad used to blare the theme from this (as recorded my Michael Gore) any time it came on the radio (ditto the Love Theme from "St. Elmo's Fire"). Yeah, he liked cheesy synth music. 🤔

Smooticus

Great flick. Have the Kleenex ready

Byrd N. Hand

While I enjoy the film, I feel it does get a bit emotionally manipulative at times. I personally like "Broadcast News," "As Good As It Gets," and "Spanglish" all more.

Michael Robayo

Amazing film! Can’t wait. Just a classic.

Keith Brown

Big time Oscar winner! Shirley and Jack won. Debra lost because Shirley won in the category. All the actors are first rate in their roles!

Abel Salas Jr

Great movie and selection. Keep the kleenex handy.

Shehab Dawoud

I've only seen it once many years ago, so I'll keep an eye on that.

Duncan

Congratulations Zo Zo 🎉🎉

Jack P

I am stoked for this one as well, would have been my second choice!

OwenMeany

yes, I love that movie :)

Brandon

For some reason I always mix up Terms of Endearment with Ordinary People in my mind. Possibly because they both came out in the early 80's and won the Oscar for Best Picture. You should also watch that at some point. He's not in it, but it's directed by Robert Redford.

Tyler Foster

Ashleigh Burton is the only person I know of who has reacted to it.

Toc

PS: Watching your discussion: when people ask my favorite genre of movie, I always say "Comedy-Drama!" They don't make comedy-dramas anymore! But that's what life is like, right?

Bryan David

This is one of my top ten films of the ’80s. It’s equal parts comedy and drama, and it’s great at both. Love this film. Awesome pick!

Carlos Murphy

Great pick, totally forgot about it! People are talking about "Kleenex" which is fair, but i remember it being very funny also.

MacGuffinStuff

There is this great little heist film called "KILLING ZOE" (that sounds menacing, no I love the pick Zoe, Terms is a great movie, I haven't seen it in a long time but it's a classic), no but the pronunciation of Zoe. Julie Delpy, French actor, movie is set in Paris, is Zoe, and she introduces herself to Eric Stolz as "Zo, or Zoey". I can't find this movie anywhere, but it's written and directed but Roger Avary who worked at the same video store with Quentin Tarantino and is credited with Tarantino at the beginning of Pulp Fiction as Story By. My friends and I loved this trippy druggy heist movie back in high school.

MacGuffinStuff

I just watched a quick YT video with Tarantino talking about Killing Zoe, he pronounced it Zo too actually, and my suspicion was correct, the stuff where Vincent is talking about Europe to Jules, that's a lot of Roger Avary, from all th crazy stuff that happened to him in Europe.

Shehab Dawoud

Well, that's one reaction I won't be checking out!

John Fitzpatrick

I hate to be a Scrooge, but I always thought The Right Stuff deserved the Best Picture Oscar over Terms of Endearment. That's one of the primary reasons I have a prejudice against this film.

David

Jeff Daniels Anna Paquin fly away home insured by a true story a wonderful movie one to send the spiriest soaring watching best film reaction movie fantastic and Amazing Director casting this movie is winner film wonderful side and bird's singing
