Ooooh. Obsession. Me and wifey loved it!

EdmanXERO

Welp, time to watch "Obsession" for the 8th time. 🤣 It's gonna be insane.

Jonathan Patrick

Nice Obsession was good. Fright Night 2 (from the 80s) would be cool to see a reaction to

fromage

What an incredible combo.

Felix

two bangers!

Edgar Gonzalez

These are 2 bangers right here...its banger week coming up!

Linda

Wow! Just finished watching Project Hail Mary and now this. You guys are killin' it. 💕

Eric Denney

Only 8th? 😆 I've never watched so many reactions to the same movie as I have this.

Will Knox

Awesome! Two great picks for spooky season! Inde Navarrette honestly blew me away with her performance. I called it when I saw it back in June, she will win the Oscar for Best Actress. 💯

Santiago Hardy

Ooooh boy. Some solid/genuinely good movies there.👍👍

Paul Cox

Read up on the context for Blair Witch. At the time, everyday folks were just beginning to pour onto the Internet and this was set up well before its release with websites giving the mythology/legend some background and more or less seeding a frenzy to see the film. Now, people would see through that immediately, but that's because Blair Witch did it first.

EdmanXERO

"Sinners" was worse. LOL

Christopher Larimer

haha im in the same boat, probably at like 15 watches now

Hunter

I would love to see your guys reaction to Weapons from last year! i think you guys would love it

sb

Absolutely bangers!

sb

This is gonna be great.

Michael SCH

I like both these films but they have the most annoying and frustrating characters I've had the pleasure of watching. Blair Witch today is less intense than when the film was first shown in 1999, when the found footage genre was new. It actually freaked me out when I first watched it back in the day. Now ... I get more irritated than scared. As for Obsession .... THAT character is ... gah.

Chris Bruneau

oooh, spooky season is upon us!!!!!!!

Stephen Malloy

Obsession good but not great. Blair Witch becomes tedious after the first hour. Overrated as a horror film.

Duncan

Can you please add a 5 minute edit of Daniels live watch along reaction to the Rams collapse in Denver tonight ,to the schedule 👀😯🏈 Thank you 🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️

sb

Im at about 20. 😄 Obsession is just one of those films that you have to see how people react.

Future Boy

A month of horror with Daniel and Sam: the highlight on my reaction calendar!!

Toc

I know this is off topic but did I miss the Terms Of Endearment reaction? I could have sworn I saw that announced a few weeks ago. Am I tripping? lol

Jaime Raymundo

I Am So Excited For Both Obsession And The Bair Witch's Project

Miggiexrcf

I remember watching the blair witch project on VHS, it traumatized me as a kid

Shehab Dawoud

That is one elite schedule. I'm a bit tired of Obsession but I'll watch it again just because it's you guys. I'm shocked that it took 6 years to get Blair Witch on here, but I'm very intrigued to see how you feel about it and if you've done some research going into it.

Donna Castellano

I haven't seen Blair Witch in forever. Has anyone else seen the similar movie that came out around the same time, The Last Broadcast?? Honestly thought that was the creepier film, it just dropped the ball in the last 10/15 minutes.

Donna Castellano

One of my internet friends and I spent the entire night searching the web, trying to find out if it was real or not. They were really clever about planting "evidence" online. With as new as search engines were back then, it was super hard to immediately debunk that kind of thing. We had each other so freaked out, her fridge made some weird noise and she told me she screamed so loud she woke her husband up at 3 in the morning. 🤣🤣. I miss those internet tie ins. A.I.: Artificial Intelligence had a pretty good internet campaign connected to it as well.

Donna Castellano

It was definitely the gimmick that made it so huge in 99. That genre was fairly unused/new at the time and the internet campaign a few weeks before it came out was pretty ingenious. It was that uncertainty around it that gave it the oomph it needed. Definitely a product of the time but it was a fun time to be on the internet when it came out.

Paul Cox

You know what snapped me back to reality? Heather was doing a series of Steak n Shake commercials at the exact same time, so any "found footage" drama they tried to pass off as real was quickly debunked.

Paul Cox

Interesting, I'm just now learning those ads mostly only aired in the Illinois/Indiana market and in Florida, which is where I lived at the time. For most of the country, the mystery was NOT spoiled by burger commercials lol 🍔

Tyler Foster

Was hoping for Dawn of the Dead this week, but I'm looking forward to Obsession, and Blair Witch will be a first time watch for me.

Richard Maurer

For new movies that “everyone” is doing I do a search on YouTube, figure the half dozen reactors I most want to see react to it, then stop there. Helps keep reaction fatigue from setting in. Then I might watch some other reactions a while later, if I feel like it.

Smooticus

I don't know about anyone else here, but if I were at that little house party, I would have had a ball watching that Jenga game go sideways the way it did

MacGuffinStuff

I'm really behind on your reactions, sorry it's been crazy lately, but these two are probably going to jump the line because I love Halloween and these two are, one is a classic that I think is a masterpiece, and a new one too!

penoyer79

I saw The Blair Witch Project in the Theater when we all still thought it was real.

TBR Schmitt

You've got a backlog to catch up on which is fun! Spooky Season is off to a great start! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Nah, I would have left so fast hahah -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Ooh excited to see what you think of Blair witch! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

LOL we were hoping it had been enough time since the surge of Obsession reactions! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Thanks, Vincent! And yes, coming to YT! -Sam

Toc

Thanks Vincent & Sam ! So sorry! I didn't realize it was so recent! Take your time! Psyched to see it!

Tyler Foster

By the way, sent you another message re: Dawn of the Dead, but I'll just repeat it here. It turns out it IS on Amazon Prime, BUT that version is an alternate cut and not the ideal version to watch, rather than the US theatrical cut.

Forrest

Who's bringing the mash?

penoyer79

you should have seen the marketing campaign that went into it. they even released a documentary called "Curse of the Blair Witch" leading up to the movie which had "interviews" with friends and family of the missing victims... it looked like 60 Minutes type of thing.
