He got pretty mad at Walpurgis in response to Clayman hitting Milim. ..... I am not completely surprised at the cliffhanger. Mariabel did say that Tempest would withdraw itself. They probably wanted him to get mad. The impression he made isn't good either. ..... The problem with the sniper is that if you can't detect the attack, it's really hard to prevent it.

It might have been one of his replications. If he didn't know what the attack was, maybe he should have been concerned, but maybe he already had determined it was the kind of attack that wouldn't hurt him.
