Just seen the notification for this. I haven't watched it yet myself, will watch this after I watch it but im so excited for this. I read a few chapters of the manga and it's really good. Also I think you should watch overshadowed to overpowered, you'll definitely enjoy that one (I'm not the best at selling shows to you haha)

When I saw the death flags at the start of the episode. I thought that his friends would die. Because usually if a character says “I have a family back home, that I want to return to.” It usually means that character will bite the dust

The story seems interesting so far but the art style I’m a bit mixed about. Now I really hope that this story will not end up being a harem. With the children of his old adventures buddies, as that would be too🗿 for me

Just like level 999, you're in for another banger. Also I love the art style, the world and the outfit of MC and the two adventurer looks so good, color of the clothes is vibrant and clean. Gorgeous art background too. From first episode looks like the art won't be a problem. The thing I fear the most is when your favourite manga gets an anime adaptation, and you pray to the lord Jesus it does not end up like The New Gate, so my worries were all for nothing! Looking forward to next episode, thank you dad 🗿

Slightly cut-rate animation shortcuts aside, I'm ecstatic this got a good adaptation. The intraparty dynamics are VERY reminiscent of The Water Magician, both with his old party and the newbies he's decided to take under his wing. No edgelord power fantasy shenanigans, just good, wholesome "Power of Friendship... and Unspeakable Violence™" brand adventuring fun. Also similar to Water Magician that the newbies aren't utter morons that keep pushing forward despite being exhausted because they need to spike dramatic tension to make the MC look cooler when he rescues them. I think the learning skill you were thinking of was Flio in Lvl 2 Cheat Powers, right before he went full Grandpa Denken on Hiya the djinn.

Well I thought this was a different story than it was... meaning that the other also had a dude fight something for a long time and the MC emerged after the world had changed. They were a 40 year old Great Sage teachin the young'uns what for... something like that. Had a Utawaremono vibe though. I look forward to seeing this one more.
