Really a visual downgrade for all the central characters. I could roll with it if it were just Leon, but it's obvious that the faces have less detail and just look "blah". Story is still engaging and fun, especially Leon and Marie's interactions.

It's like that show with that damn sword that kept changing shape size dimension and style from one scene to the next I can't even remember what that show was called

Sometime, simplicity is key. When trying to change what wasn't broken, you broke it. I definitely noticed the inconsistency in the characters model as well. If they only tweak the MC's facial structure a little, okay fine, but the whole art style changed. I'm still watching you reacting to this, good or bad it's gonna be a fun watch either way. As long as the story doesn't get downgrade as well we should be good.

if it was just leon it'd be an easy adjustment and I could see the vision of further making him less interesting as a mob, but when all the characters look like cheap plastic surgery and leon looks the best of them all what are we doing

You know what else you forgot? Frontier Lord - I'm trapped in a relationship but at least it's not a dating sim.

The sibling thing was actually revealed way back in early season 1 to the audience when they first showed Marie to be an Isekai character, she mentioned how she made her brother 100% the game for her. For the visuals to me it really seems to be eye size and placement gets shifted around alot, sometimes Olivia has a very short and fat head with eyes off to the sides like an old Key anime.

Marie's legs are a lot thicker, and the hair is a lot flatter. The headshapes are also tweaked

I don't like how Livia and Angie now look so similar. The faces have been smoothed and don't look as "sharp" as they did in season one. I think I agree with about the proportions. The voice acting is still great IMO. Whether the sweet Livia or the shit-talking Leon, that's quality. I love the old woman's whispering, it is so uncanny. Also, the story is still pretty interesting, with the MC outing himself as a reincarnator. Marie being Leon's sister was hinted at in the first season. I don't remember the details exactly, but I think she mentioned forcing her brother to play the game. I thought it was already a given. 13:37 : "Angie, you shouldn't state the truth!" I love how Livia looks like she is trying to defuse the situation, but she's actually saying she agrees with Angie's insults.
