one of the only romance anime I've seen (maybe only one?) make this much progress after only 4 episodes!

21:40 final thoughts on the episode. Let me know what you thought!

Demon King Shin Konton

Rejection did you noticed that the moment she thought Minami ran from kuroe's kaiju form she said that she was starting to become a kaiju in the mind as well right and the moment she knew that he would accept her kuro started thinking like a human again So you understand what that means right If kuroe gets rejected she will go full queen of the monsters and stop being human all together but if she is accepted in both forms she can stay human And kuroe's mother is trying to keep her isolated and alone and she has been giving sus looks in each episode

I’m enjoying this show quite a lot I’m a bit iffy about uncle but it might be that the author doesn’t have his character all sorted out yet, still one of my favourites this season

During that confession scene I was like "ok, lets fuking ENCOOOORE!!". I fully expected she would turn again. Of course, things are not that crazy. And budget demands she only transform once per episode. Now that metal band... they are real pros since they kept on playing when Harugon popped out. THAT is was metal! Though the studio missed the chance to pull a Dan DaDan and give us a proper metal song... oh well, not just any series can go balls to the wall crazy with something like that, though since I'm unsatisfied we got no proper metal insert song (intro does not count, though I like it a lot), I'm gonna have to go back and watch the Hayashi video. But seriously, this show does a good job of telling us and the characters "don't judge too quickly". Mama needs to remember that teens will be teens, and you can't keep 'em wrapped in bubble wrap forerver. In that sense, and ominous post credit scene not withstanding, Kotaro showed a lot more maturity in actively confronting Minami from the moment he saw him courting his little monster. And Minami Arata is really, really turning into a proper male lead for this series. He stumbles, true, but damn! Our boy, our hommie is truly getting his girl. Unless they come out with some bullshit reason to through into the garbage all his growth and determination just to keep the "will he/won't he" holding pattern, he is going to properly accept Kuro's "issue". THEN the real fun will start, since one thing is getting to the point he accepts "everything" about Kuro (yes, I also said it with that intention), but another thing is when the rest do so. This series really gives me the hope that they will get beyond the holding pattern stage and actually give us a proper development of their relationship. But only time will tell if it actually goes there.
