I didn't expect that magic duel to look so good. What's interesting is that it's not even the super smooth, very high quality of a show like Demon Slayer or Frieren. What makes this fight stand out is how cool the spells look. Thor's Hammer isn't just lightning, it is an actual Thor made out of lightning. The quad casting feels powerful. The ice spells have little details to set them apart. That's pretty satisfying. And I'm glad they opted for Eftal' secret being shared with his old student. Usually, reincarnated protags never reveal that, so it feels a bit new.
