They just wanderered through the cave system mentioned this episode from where the spring plot was dropped last season. 5 episodes of admittedly good filler with hints of the source matterial is my complaint... only because I wanted to see those scenes animated. Nothings been a deal breaker so far. Its just annoying when you expect one thing and get the other. 5 good episodes leading into this good one also. As much care in the fillers as in the main cannon. No real issues to me; just aesthetic issues in my case.

I like the lore here where we found out that getting isekaied to this world is not all that rare. Also good that they confirmed that it was not heatstroke which made Arc collapse. Because if it was he should have gotten knocked out, every time that Ariadne use fire spells on him.

The animation this season has been pretty good. I've been happy with it. They minimized the use of 3D over the first season and actually hand drawn Ariane this time.
