we just got a Higurashi-level plot twist and reveal..one 💀 just changed Tensura as we know it!

Also again I apologise that this isn't as high energy. I'm just incredibly sick today, so forgive me

Nah Chloe's situation feels more like What happened to Homura in madoka magica

I'm blown away. I wasn't expecting a full Chloe sub-arc. Though I guess the opener should have been a giant hint. I don't think the novel even covered it, besides a lengthy explanation. So is this all going to be anime-original? It's definitely an opportunity to let the studio cook for real. The other part of me is raging that we had to stop the fight, which really breaks the cadence. But it had to be done, for what I hope is really cooked Chloe-time. I'm still processing my reaction. I definitely like the full-throttle action, but then to just slam on the brakes like this... Diabolical... I pray that the next episode is handled very carefully, because we're about to lose a bunch of anime-onlies. I cannot envision anything other than a slow-paced, nearly slice-of-life, or meetings galore, so I'm putting my faith in the studio that has done an exemplary job so far to handle this transition well.

Yeah more diabolical cliffhanger than last week huh :) Welcome to one of the very WTF moments every LN reader had.... that yes changed again the mood of this series from the nation building chill one with some harsh moments to something more :)

OnePieceMan

It almost caught up with the manga now. Probably 1 more episode, no more than 2. By the time this 60 episode season is over there is no chance of the manga ever catching up again.
