You know I love my fun facts about this series, here's an other one (and one of my favorite) : Yuuka Kusunoki (the girl you said looks like a slime character) has a name who catches the eye... a japanese name in an european medieval-like world. The interesting thing about her is that she was the Main Character of Hagure Metabo's first Web Novel and for some reason, they decided to have a merchant with her name, look and background in this series as well (with a different backstory though). Also I was quite surprised by her voice, I always imagined her with a more youthful voice, but I guess she's older than she looks like.

17:03 big agree! It's really nice to see actually competent antagonists who can challenge Ellie. Despite having some idiots on the other side, it's reassuring to know that this isn't just gonna be a cake walk for Ellie. The mercenary guy from a couple episodes back who fought Ellie & Elsa, got away, and burned a bunch of important shit is also a good addition to have for similar but different reasons.

It was great reading many of the responses from last week. As that video really did blow up in terms of how many that did comment and like the video. I feel like it even gave a boost to your channel overall in the following week. But yeah some comments was a bit out there but most of them seemed reasonable

I've definitely come around on her being evil, but when you keep boiling it down to "because some kids were mean to her" you lose me a little. Like she was framed and going to be put to death. Obviously doesn't excuse the lengths she has gone too but to boil it down to kids being mean is quite reductive.

Something interesting happened in this episode. There's no timeskip mentionned, no "2 days later", "1 week later" or "1 month later". But it's quite obvious that the events in this episode didn't happen in a single day.

What a nice slice-of-life show about being a merchant! Almost makes me forget that she caused the brutal death of countless innocents (including children in front of their mothers) in the last episode, and her only reaction was "Ah, the monster I unleashed finally died. Anyways..."

Huh, so I was wrong. I assumed that that evil-overlord-looking guy was the demon lord and planned to recruit our MC because he was impressed by how evil she was, but it turns out the merchant's guild is just very diverse. Lol, she has a Google search engine among her grimoires. I would love it if the Book of Lucifer and its Search function's motto was "Be evil".

I think I prefer underdog villainous protagonists compared to actually evil ones. The latter are fine too, and they are not very common so it brings new stuff. But the former is more enjoyable to me. The idea to start from rock bottom and defy the odds with your hard work, and have the last laugh. It is quite satisfying. Even asshole-ish MCs are fun. Recently, I've started reading The Greatest Estate Developer. The MC is so entertaining, a mix between Leon (Dating Sim) and Liam (Intergalactic Empire). His first concern is getting money, but the way to it is to improve his subjects' lives (for taxes) or save his political allies (who he tends to see as wallets). Also, the queen is amazing.

What is really interesting about this - I don't think she is good anymore. I think she is neutral, in the DND scale. She can do evil things and she can do good things. But she decides about that if it has an advantage to her cause or not. Moral doesn't play a role. So probably until they fucked her over, most of her life she did things that count as morally good. But not because she was morally good, simply because that is good for her own and the kingdoms reputation. Also now, the girls she has as aprentices will have a really good life if they don't anger her. As well as her employes. They will never expect her to do the deeds she already did. Having a character who really is a psychopath with no sense of a moral code is actually really interesting.
