I'm sorry, am I misremembering the part from an earlier episode where all he had to do was do the deed with the girl and the bond would have been linked to him and finalized? Would have avoided the entire fighting a god scenario. I am really questioning Eftal 's sex drive/proclivities/etc or the complete lack thereof.

Also not sure if we’re thinking of the same thing but when she was “offering herself” it’s because she felt obligated to useful as “his slave” and she was a s3x slave so she assumed that’s all she could offer him—and he was like omg what are you doing calm down! 😅 That’s the only thing I recall—not sure what you’re thinking of

I'll be honest, I don't like it when fan service is too obviously taking priority over the plot. The constant zoom-in, the slimy sounds, the moans... It feels cheap to put so much importance on that, it feels empty to me. "Let's activate the viewers' monkey neurons, as if we didn't need to think of an interesting story to write." Usually, I let it go, but this scene was so long. Lol the way they prepared a whole protected room for fighting a god makes me think of when you prepare to summon a wither and build a small reinforced room to have the advantage. All that said, this fight against a god was amazing. The 3D model was fine, the pay-off satisfying, and it was in general beautiful. The strategy was interesting too.
