That vampire lord has been in this city for a whole year. And still could not figure out that was the king with that small eye mask on. How can he both be smart enough to plan this operation for a full year, and still be stupid enough not to see that is the king at first? As we saw that he can just sent a bat to collect intel whenever he wants in the capital. I mean even for Superman he usually changes to a completely different outfit. But here the king looked exactly the same🤨

Also I have question about the dog as in the first half of the episode. It looked like it was starving with its ribs clearly showing. But then in the second half of the episode the dog looked fine. Which is so weird as if he was drawn by two completely different teams. Where the second team did not get the memo at all

Come on, the disguise is obviously based on the secret, infallible (almost) and exalted techniques of guild receptionists, and as for the dog, perhaps Locke cast some nourishment magic on it.

Well even that guild receptionist did not use her work cloths as a disguise. Which says a lot if even her was smart enough for it. Yeah Locke might have done that but he never mentioned it. So that would be like the fans filling in a inconsistency with their headcanon

That is what I’m saying as well that the dog was visibly starving in the first part of the episode. Until he got to Lock’s house where the dog suddenly looked different and not visibly starving anymore
