I can't wait for the next season. I'm probably going to read the light novel. This show is so much fun to watch every week, but it only gets a new season every few years.....

So some things that this show left out. The marriage proposal did not work out. Because Damuel could not go away and live in Brigitte’s home town. As he knows Rosemyne secret of her being a commoner. So they want him closer to Rosemyne to not risk revealing it and keeping check on him. I think that grandpa in the novel did cut down the horse like the mountain did in GoT.

This will have a big impact on Rosemyne’s life. Because she did stop growing during these two years. So everyone will notice her being very short as a 10 year old girl. Plus her muscles are very weak after those two years. So she is using magical items which are arm and leg band. To be able to use her body there at the end.

I would highly recommend that you either check out the LN or the manga. To better understand the story as they left many parts out. It really is such a well develop world

Each of the main arcs were given names, season 1 covers "Daughter of a Solider", so it somewhat makes sense to also start using those. In the LN we also learn that Ferdinand had plans in place to kill off Damiel if the marriage proposal was accepted. He's one of the handful who could confirm Myne's past and can't be allowed to leave her service alive. Meanwhile a decent guy has already been arranged to marry Bridget (who is getting old in this society) and support her and her brother's domain by those who support Rosemyne.

The anime really glossed over why their marriage fell through Damuel is a laynoble, the lowest rank, and Brigitte is a mednoble, a middle rank. In order for them to marry either Bridgitte has to be demoted into being a laynoble herself or Damuel has to marry into Brigitte's family and be promoted into a mednoble Brigitte being demoted would be an insult to her, plus she would have to cut ties with her family in Illgner so the logical move would be to have Damuel marry into Brigitte's family, which would be a win win for everyone, except Damuel knows too much so he cannot be allowed to leave Rozemyne service like he would have to if he marries into Illgner

And so this part of the story ends. The next one is where things get even more interesting. Books will be printed, stories will be collected, political machinations will continue and plots line will be interwoven as in a beautiful tapestry. The world will be expanded and some of the best characters will be introduced and others given a change to shine. And in the meantime a lot of people will be asking themselves "Where the hell did Ehrenfest get such a gremlin?" It's been a pleasure and hope to see you for the next part.

Damuel could not leave Rozemyne to go with Brigitte in Ilgner, because he's the only guard Rozemyne has that knows her secret. Had he married Brigitte and went to Ilgner, Damuel would have mysteriously died.

I think they should've adapted closer to the structure of the LN Which is to say, Myne gets put into the Juvere, we cut to the dream sequence where she disolve the mana stones inside her body, she wokes up and finds out two years have passed so is an actual revelation like in the books, and we have an OVA with what happened to everyone while she was asleep with emphazis in Damuel and Brigitte

Pops they probably changed the naming system to fit the LN arc names. Some are multiple volumes and others not so much. So the arc name is more consistant than volume count for length. The cores then need to be based off that. Thats my guess at least.
