Oh wow. That "system lady" is super interesting to me. The creator has erased her name and identity, but still she came to aid sword dad. Now I want to know who she was, why she has been treated that way by that "creator" - and also who the other voice is. Closing an ark so satisfying and also opening up two - probably long time - mysteries like that. I am impressed

OnePieceMan

Not sure if you're familiar with modern Yu-gi-oh, but the first part of the episode was basically a single person's turn of modern Yu-gi-oh. Yes, I'm not kidding. In modern Yu-gi-oh it can seriously take like 10 minutes of card summoning, combining, discarding, etc before a turn is over. And I'm not talking about the cartoon, but about the real life card battles.

Cool ass-pull is still ass-pull. Kinda not mad because obviously unleash potential was going to be a thing, but Teacher just had a Kirito moment, or a one-time use Raphael. Talking to God wasn't on the list of how do we get out of this situation things. Still, ass-pull. Even if I liked it.

True, but at least it's only a one-time thing! If it wasn't then it would be real bad for the story haha

Gotta say, good episode! Obviously nowhere near the best ones, but still I feel like having this "downtime" for half the episode was really needed, especially after all the intense episodes back to back. Really looking forward to next episode, and with the adaptation team doing as good of a job as they are, it's gonna be a lot of fun!

It is so hard to explain the inner workings of teacher without spoiling alot of future plot

Vol 2 is now done... I think. Now for the Beach side set up Arc. After that Shogeki no Fran Arc. Possibly we meet best antagonist in a brief cameo this season. Perhaps not. I like their personality.

Think of losing announcer as a hair line break that continues to get bigger over time. Because you don't know it's importance until the consequences hit.

FURIOUS The Hip-Hop Sommelier

Reincarnated as a sword has achieved something. Generally speaking when an asspull or deux ex Machina happens it’s very dissatisfying. I guess what makes me able to live with it is that they tend to be quick. That’s part of the problem. They’re too convenient. They’re too fast. But in terms of time wasted they commit and promise to minimisation. But this instead has a deux ex machina which is a long fucking boring lecture. Even as a chore show, whatever the chore is listening to this lecture or reading the subtitles- it’s gonna make you hate the chore more. I now hate laundry folding. That’s a rare skill. Rough. This show was good at one thing - putting Fran front and centre and letting the charm shine. You know what happens when you take a steeplechase horse and ask it to compete in dressage? Broken fucking horse ankles. That’s what.
