October Early Access #1 (Patreon)

Oooohoo, what's this!? I mentioned that I might start posting my finished pieces as an early access reward for patreon, so here y'all go 💁‍♀️

Some thoughts and reflections on this piece:

Well, this is going to be a paired piece with Vincent (still workin' on that one!) but I wanted to share the Quinn one first. I honestly started sketching this because I wanted another excuse to slick his hair back lol, but then I went on to explore other ~themes~ such as..y'know..his moody stare and slutty outfit.

The top is based on a real top I just can't remember for the life of me where I saw it, but it immediately screamed 'Quinn' so of course I had to make him wear it !!! Truthfully, the best part of having ocs is that I can dress them up in fun little outfits whenever I want :3

The background was actually inspired by an activity I did this past week where we played with masks in front of a projector! I really like having that stark shadow and figure in front of something bright and colorful. Initially, I wanted to have the bg image overlay onto his face, but then it kept covering it too much so I toned it back lol (Quinn's face is simply too pretty to hide!)

The painting is The Lament for Icarus by Herbert James Draper. Icarus is a bit of a recurring motif for Quinn, and I thought the drama and evocative composition of the painting felt particularly compelling 🤌

I shall be working on the Vincent companion piece, and as I mentioned last week I don't have a nsfw piece for this Sunday because I'm still working on that as well~ Sorry to disappoint :(( But next Sunday's will be very very enticing 😌
