October Early Access #2 (Patreon)

I promised a Vincent piece, and here it is!! Yipppeee!

Some thoughts about this piece:

I knew I was doing a dual piece, so I wanted this one to parallel the Quinn one. But for this, I went for a central pose with a bolder darker color scheme~

With Vincent, I usually dress him up in classic styles, but it is fun to experiment and throw him into some funky outfits too :3 I know his actual haircut is a bit too short to properly style into braids, but let me just have some fun with him lol. I honestly reeeeally like the braid look for him....maybe he'll style it like this permanently one day....

He gets some bling this time, as a treat 😌

For technical stuff, the fur wasn't actually that hard to paint! I did a rough hatch layer then blurred it, then painted on top with more feathered strokes, then copied that again and kept adding to it.

The background image is 'The Fall of the Damned' by Rubens which is suuuch an insane painting, I'm in awe of it. The composition and colors and all those swirling bodies just scratch my brain just right, and it felt like a perfect piece for Vincent!

I'm always compelled to just post my art as soon as I finish on socials, but now you all are getting it first! Hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think :) <33
