Within the Water Ocean
Argos, the Sixth Prince of Thunder Mountain, feels confident as he stands at the front end of his ship pouring lightning directly into the ocean beneath the vessel. Shocking every last monster that gets close to the ship till they rise floating upside down dead on the surface. At which point he grabs them using electromagnetism and tosses them onto the ship. All without uncrossing his arms.
The prince has absolute confidence in his scoring a top rank in this event. Since his element works perfectly in the ocean he appeared in.
He can hunt fish with ease, and it will give him an advantage when fighting other hunters.
Case in point when he runs into a ship with a woman throwing down fish summons of her own into the water to hunt. And when she sees him, she immediately sends a swarm of fish to attack him. Only for said fish to be annihilated by his lightning with ease.
Then he controls the clouds above to create a massive lightning storm all around them.
The woman’s eyes open wide in shock before Argos moves one arm and snaps his fingers in front of him. Making lightning crash down from each one of the clouds to strike the woman and her ship.
Screams ring out for just a few seconds before the woman dies and breaks into particles. Being revived outside of the event along with the last few hunters Argos killed.
The prince doesn’t waste any time as he moves his ship up towards hers and jumps onto her ship to activate the fish transfer. After which all of the fish in the woman’s spatial cargo hold fly out and into his own ship’s spatial cargo hold.
And that’s one more.
He nods his head in satisfaction before jumping back onto his ship and continuing his trip as he opens the leaderboards for the event.
But what he finds on the leaderboards has him narrowing his eyes a little.
Because he’s not first place.
Four Quarters Fishing Leaderboards

2. Argos Thunder
3. Ashley Chaos
4. Aralan Argol
5. Diana Reltfel
6. Rellatia Cove
7. Noura Al-Farsi
8. Alric Dawnspire
9. Ysara Moonveil
10. Valethra Ash Dominion
…
Argos feels more than a little irritated at the sight of the Ouroboros Prince being at the top of the leaderboards. Because he can easily imagine how the prince is maintaining that position.
He must be in the Toxic Ocean. There’s no other answer for it.
If Azaryth was in any other ocean, he would have a bit more difficulty. But if he got lucky and ended up in the Toxic Ocean full of poison, then that’s an entirely different story.
The Ouroboros Dynasty imperial family are all masters of poison. The greatest masters of poison in the universe. So him starting in the Toxic Ocean is just giving him the homefield advantage.
It would be the same as if Argos had started on the Shock Ocean.
All the Ouroboros Prince would need to do is speed around the ocean hunting other players and stealing their fish. Taking advantage of the poison in the ocean to easily overwhelm them all in seconds.
Argos sighs at the bad luck before looking further down the list and feeling mildly surprised at seeing Ashley amongst the royals at the top of the rankings. If anything, he was expecting her to be at the back of the royals or behind them. Simply due to their level difference.
After all, the benefits a royal gets from their royal backing are often equal to the benefits a Successor gets from their Successor Skills and blood.
Royals are flooded with every benefit possible, whether they’re items, elixirs to permanently boost stats, magic training from birth, or even the bloodline of the royal families themselves. They’re all generally considered equal to the Successors, if for no other reason than the Successors not being brought up by the Primordials themselves.
Since the Primordials are still bound by certain laws and can’t just guide their Successors through everything. Unlike the royals, who very much can do that and do exactly that until the royals reach adulthood.
But when Argos thinks about all of the Unique Skills Ashley has, he begins to change his opinion of her. Deciding to treat her as more than just another Successor.
Most of the time the royals have to care more about the political ramifications of conflicts with Successors than the combat power of the Successors. Unless the Successor is around the same level as them. So he isn’t used to thinking this way.
Other than Ashley being third place on the leaderboards, the rest of the top six are all as he expected.
Fourth place is the Fifth Prince of the Argol Empire. Fifth place is the Seventh Princess of Reltfel. And sixth place is the Third Princess of The Alchemist Cove.
Argos briefly nods his head at that before continuing on his way through the Water Ocean of the four oceans. Only to eventually frown when he sees something rather unusual.
For some reason, the ocean in front of him has small icebergs in it. And the water and air are both growing colder and colder as he goes. With some snow appearing.
Argos’ frown grows even deeper when he feels some of the snowflakes touching his body and immediately beginning to drain it of his vitality with each touch. Which quickly explains exactly what this snow is.
It means he’s found Ashley. Or the general area where she may be.
Signs of her existence through her Eternal Snow.
The prince thinks for a moment about the situation before eventually deciding to fight her.
There won’t be any repercussions for killing a Successor in an event like this where revival is automatic. And he will gain honor for his position aiming for the throne through slaying a Successor.
But the biggest draw for it is the reward that all users obtain upon slaying a Successor.
Access to all Successor Events despite not being a Successor themselves.
And Argos has a couple of special items up his sleeve to deal with her as well. So he quickly begins to follow the snow, finding it growing heavier and heavier until he finally finds some fish floating up on the surface, clearly dead.
At which point he finally realizes what exactly she is doing.
She’s spreading the Eternal Snow all across the ocean around her and letting the snow sink into the water to attack the fish everywhere. Just like how Argos is spreading his lightning in the water.
I didn’t think she could do this…
Unfortunately for him, and the other royals no doubt, there isn’t a great amount of information on Ashley’s Tigress of Eternal Snow Skill Tree unlike her Queen of Destruction Skill Tree. So there isn’t much they can learn about it in advance beyond the information they already knew about the Tiger of Eternal Snow.
And he doesn’t know if her Tigress of Eternal Snow Skill Tree is exactly the same as the Tiger of Eternal Snow or not.
He shakes his head and continues moving while occasionally picking up the fish her snow kills. Making sure to block the snow falling towards him with his lightning to keep himself from taking damage.
As he moves, he finds more and more snow falling, with more chunks of ice in the water. Practically turning the Water Ocean into an ocean of ice and snow instead.
A significantly less pleasant location for Argos to say the least.
Eventually he makes it within sight of Ashley’s fishing boat. And what he sees has him questioning his eyes.
Because he sees over a dozen Ashleys all floating on blocks of ice while occasionally using magic to pull the monsters out of the water and onto the blocks of ice. Only for her to then move the fish to her fishing boat when the fish on the ice blocks grows too numerous.
But none of that is as shocking as the sight of what he believes is her main body just leisurely sitting on a lawn chair at the front of the ship.
What am I watching…
Of course, the moment his gaze reaches her, she sits up and looks at him. And so do all of her clones.
Which he finds to be a little creepy.
It takes him a moment to snap out of his stupor, at which point he makes sure to use the protection item given to him by his father, the Mountain King of Thunder Mountain.
An item to protect him from True Damage.
Let’s see how strong the Princess of Chaos truly is.
