I can’t help but grin as I use my Devourer racial skill to devour the Quantum Balancer. Following which I see the messages appearing in my vision.

Huh. Apparently killing a Quantum Being breaks the System.

Interesting.

And that new skill is incredible. Adding a complete cap on the amount of damage anything can deal to me in a single attack.

I just need to figure out what to swap it with.

Even if the Quantum Balancer broke the System for a bit, he still gave me an immense amount of EXP.

Just what level was he…?

Anyway, I can feel that I can now use the Quantum Balancer’s special variant quantum energy. Even if I have no idea how to really utilize it right now. I don’t know exactly what it does besides what I’ve seen.

More messages begin to appear in my vision after the first ones.

I can’t help but smile as I receive another token. Just with this token being for skills, unlike the last one that was for my Class.

After a brief pause to think, I decide on the skill I want to use the token for. Because it is the hardest skill out of my skills to raise the level for. And one of the skills I use the most.

I feel like I’ll need it at Ascendant Tier to fight against the Corrupted One in the future, too.

So I use the new Universal Skill Tier Advancement Token to increase the Tier of Energy Manipulation from the start of Tier 5 straight to Ascendant Tier.

{Congratulations! Your General Skill ‘Energy Manipulation’ has reached Ascendant Tier!}

I immediately feel my control over energy skyrocketing. In fact, it increases so much that I feel like my control has quintupled at the very least.

An entire factor of five increase.

My smile turns into a wide grin as I begin to test out the newly advanced skill. Seeing how much better my control is than before.

And I immediately find the increase in control leading to a significant increase in power as well.

Nice!

I don’t have any other Tier 5 skills right now anyway. Only Energy Manipulation.

After testing my newly Ascended Energy Manipulation skill for a little while, I finally refocus on my surroundings to find the Quantum Enforcer looking at me with a strange mix of emotion on his face. Both surprise and what looks like some trepidation. Like he’s grown wary of me all of a sudden.

Why? What happened that suddenly made him wary of me?

Is it because I just used my Devourer racial skill?

I know he has a lot of tension with Mom, so I could easily see that being the case.

Or maybe it’s just reminding him of when Mom devoured the original Quantum Architect?

Actually, now that I think about it, I can sense quite a few gazes locked onto me right now. Not just the Quantum Enforcer’s gaze.

My eyes narrow for a moment before the Quantum Enforcer suddenly speaks, his voice echoing in the area that is still space-time locked, “I will leave you be for now thanks to your timely assistance, Quantum Reaper, but know that you have become a potential threat to all of the Quantum Beings.”

A threat? They didn’t consider me a threat before?

That’s… kind of insulting.

The space-time barrier sealing the area begins to crumble, proving the Quantum Enforcer’s words. Then the Quantum Enforcer rips open a rift to the Quantum Realm and passes through it without a word. Leaving me alone here.

After a few more seconds pass, the gazes on me begin to depart one after another. Proving that, even if they consider me a threat now, they aren’t directly antagonistic towards me yet.

So I just ignore them and begin focusing on both my newly Ascended skill and my new energy.

Since it’ll probably take a while to figure out how to properly use this new variant of quantum energy.

I’m also not entirely sure how useful this energy will be for me. But it should at least be useful, considering the skill I took from him.

That is quite a useful skill, after all.

I smile at that thought before focusing entirely on my energy manipulation practice.
