By the way, I finished moving into my new house. I'm just dealing with everything I have to deal with for the new house now. Like filling it with furniture for example.

Within the Quantum Realm
At the center of a large patch of completely glitched land, where patches of reality warp in and out, occasionally swapping with each other, Quantum Beings begin to appear one after another. Each with varying expressions on their faces.
The Quantum Vanguard and Quantum Enforcer both appear with caution and a mild amount of fear on their faces. Except that the Vanguard shows more caution and irritation than fear, while the Enforcer shows more fear than caution.
The Quantum Builder and Quantum Creator merely meditate further away from the other Quantum Beings, showing their indifference towards the current situation.
And the Quantum Scribe and Quantum Archon merely continue their work while attending the meeting.
The Quantum Cleaner shows extreme irritation directed at the Quantum Enforcer for dragging him out to the meeting in the first place.
And the Quantum Architect just frowns as he looks at everyone in attendance. Which is clearly missing the Quantum Ruler and now-dead Quantum Balancer.
“This meeting is now in session,” the Quantum Enforcer declares as the one who called for the meeting in the first place. But the majority of the Quantum Beings present don’t show much interest in his declaration.
The Quantum Builder and Creator don’t stop meditating, nor do the Quantum Scribe and Archon stop working.
And why would they?
The Quantum Architect almost scoffs at the entire purpose of the meeting.
“The topic of today’s session is how to deal with the Quantum Reaper,” the Quantum Enforcer declares with a serious frown on his face. “Everyone here has seen her in action. We’ve seen her quantum energy immunity granted by her trials. And we’ve seen her devouring the power of another Quantum Being. Does anyone object to joining together and sealing her away?”
A scoff rings out through the area, surprising the Quantum Architect for a moment as he thought he held it in well. Only for him to realize it wasn’t him who scoffed.
“Is something wrong?” the Quantum Enforcer asks while turning his frown onto the Quantum Cleaner, who is currently bringing out a handheld videogame console to play. “You should pay attention to important matters like this, Cleaner.”
“Oh cut the bull,” the Quantum Cleaner says without even looking up from his game. “We all know you’re just doing this because you hate devourers. Do not drag the rest of us into your problems.”
The Quantum Architect shows surprise at the Cleaner’s words as a part of him felt like the Cleaner probably disliked Lexi. Simply due to how many times she’s interrupted his gaming.
I guess he doesn’t dislike her after all?
“Besides,” the Quantum Cleaner continues. “How would we even seal her? She’s able to devour the energy in half of the Quantum Beings here just from her presence, and she is largely immune to that half’s quantum energy. And, more importantly, she’s immune to my energy. So what point would there be in me participating?”
Ah. He just wants an excuse to go back to gaming.
That fits the image the Architect has of the Cleaner much better.
Several Quantum Beings at the meeting express their agreement with the Quantum Cleaner. Especially the ones whose trials Lexi has already cleared.
Thanks to this, the Quantum Architect can see the Quantum Enforcer’s face growing darker and darker by the second. Which is a common sight for the Quantum Beings when it comes to the Quantum Enforcer and the devourers. All thanks to his late wife having been killed by a devourer millions of years in the past.
Zal turns his attention away from the fuming Enforcer to look at the Vanguard, who has been silent during this entire session.
Until now as the Vanguard declares, “I will not allow a threat of her potential scale to exist. But I do not believe it is worth it for us to focus our attention on a former mortal girl instead of the Corrupted One and his forces. So I will fight her on my own in the future, once her threat level has risen appropriately.”
“Just admit you want to enjoy fighting her when she’s as strong as you,” the Cleaner says, speaking what Zal believes everyone is thinking.
The Vanguard does have a strong thirst for battles, after all.
Zal sees the Quantum Enforcer glaring at each of the Quantum Beings in attendance. And when he realizes that no one is going to aid him, he spits out, “You will all regret this decision once she clears your trials.”
Then he leaves without another word, with other Quantum Beings leaving moments later. Half of whom only decided to attend because they were dragged there or because of whatever threat they may have felt seeing Lexi devour the Quantum Balancer.
But just because there’s a potential threat doesn’t mean it must be wiped out. So Zal soon finds himself alone at the meeting place.
I will need to make sure Lexi is prepared for the Enforcer’s eventual attack…
After having that thought, he, too, leaves the area.
