I feel rather bored as I look through the description and rules of this Planetary Official System Event, completely ignoring the roaring fans watching us from the audience. Or watching me, for the most part. Judging by their cheers.
Even fans on the other planet’s side of the audience are cheering my name. Which must be awkward for them.
Flag and Lock
Description: The most puzzling of all Capture the Flag competition! In this competition, competitors will be split up between the two teams corresponding to their separate planets! And the goal of the teams?! To capture the flag of the enemy team! Deaths do not matter, all that matters is capturing the enemy team flag! But to do that the competitors first must solve all of the puzzles sealing away the flag! All while the flag is guarded by members of the team the flag belongs to!
Participant Count: 200
Rules:
Rules: The competitors may kill any competitor they wish with no restrictions. Competitors will always revive at their flag ten minutes after they are killed at no cost. Slaying a competitor brings no reward within the event itself other than reducing the number of protectors for the enemy team’s flag for a period of time until the competitor revives. Every flag is protected by ten different locks, each of which is solved by a puzzle or condition to unlock. Some of these conditions may involve killing a certain number of the enemy team members at once, while others involve completing certain actions within the map such as finding keys. Chests of common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary rarities can be found scattered amongst the map giving the users Skill Points for opening them.
Victory Condition: The team that manages to capture the enemy team’s flag first wins.
Rewards: Every user slain in the game grants the slayer 50 Skill Points. First place team receives an additional 20000 Skill Points distributed amongst the victors through contribution. Users may keep all Skill Points they earn during the event through chests.

Since I’m just going to be left on defense, this event is going to be boring as hell. Especially when it is balanced based on the average user level and won’t have many users much higher level than me in it.
At best I will be getting some Skill Points and a bunch of probably not very useful Skill Trees.
I let out a sigh at that thought before the event finally begins and we’re all teleported into a very large map. One that is mostly a massive forest with some mountains and two large temples. Each with massive cubes at their peaks that I’m guessing must be the flags. Or covering them, at least.
The other ninety-nine members of our team immediately set out to do their own thing separate from me, meanwhile I just float in the air above our cube and make a nice little lawn chair hovering in place for me to sit on while I wait. And when I see a couple dozen people approaching the temple, I send out a large blizzard of Eternal Snow. Turning the temple into a winter wasteland.
One so cold that, when one of the enemy team members steps foot into the blizzard, they freeze within seconds. Turning into a lovely little statue decorating the landscape.
The other enemies all stop to exchange glances, but I don’t pay them much mind as I yawn and lie down on my floating lawn chair.
And just like that, the Planetary Official System Event continues on its merry way. With the enemies down below trying and failing to figure out how to deal with the blizzard I have covering the temple.
All the while, the number of statues decorating the base of the temple continues to grow in number. Which looks pretty ridiculous and hilarious at the same time when some of those people return after reviving, only to find their own statue waiting.
Eventually, I get a message from the System telling me that one of the enemy flag’s locks has been unlocked. But all that makes me think is a simple question about how long this is going to take if they’ve only cleared one out of ten locks so far.
So I spend my time leisurely looking through the Skill Trees given to me by these kind popsicles down below. Even if none of them are particularly useful to me.
Eventually the number of people attacking the temple decreases as they no doubt focus more on protecting their own temple. And at this point, I get too bored of just sitting here and instead leave Leo to protect the temple in my place, along with a bit more blizzard just to be safe, before heading off to search for chests.
Because there’s no reason not to collect extra Skill Points while I’m here.
Thus the Planetary Official System Event turns into a treasure hunt for me as I go around finding chests all over the place. With the enemies and my own team fighting it out at the enemy temple and occasionally unlocking locks on their flag.
Time gradually begins to pass until I run out of chests to find. Then I head back to the temple, where I find even more statues waiting for me than before. With Leo proudly standing on the head of a statue with his chest thrust out and his head held high.
I chuckle and begin to pet the little guy on the head, to which he responds with a happy purr mixed with a mew.
Such a cute little guy.
Not to mention he’s getting me extra Skill Points. Since I get Skill Points for every kill made during the event.
I sit around at the temple for a while again before getting bored once more. So I begin making my way to the enemy team’s temple. And once I arrive, I go ahead and set up a nice little chair high in the air above the enemy temple, where they’re fighting.
Time to watch the spectacle.
There isn’t much else to do while I’m waiting, after all.
And the sight I find when I arrive is a pretty large-scale battle. One where everyone on my team is fighting against those on the enemy team all around the temple. With several of the most powerful people from Val at the top of the temple solving puzzles while knocking down anyone who arrives.
The people I find there are all very familiar faces ranging all the way from my siblings, to my blood parents, and even the Successor of Order on Val.
From what I can tell, our side is dominating the enemy side. And not just because of the competitors I slaughtered on our temple, but also because our side just has stronger users on it.
Which really does put into perspective how strong Val is.
I’m not the only powerful user on Val. The users on Val are a lot stronger than the average world. At least amongst the stronger users.
It’s just that I’m a lot stronger than the other users on Val. And I’m used to fighting against users from higher level worlds at this point, so they seemed weaker to me thanks to that.
I narrow my eyes before adjusting my lawn chair to turn it into a regular chair. Then I cross my arms and begin to genuinely study the stronger users down there. Just to see exactly how powerful they are.
The Black and White Enforcers are both Successors as well, and they’re quite powerful compared to the others down there. Except for the other Successors, such as Blake and the Successor of Order.
Still. They aren’t as strong as the royals I fought in my last event.
No where near as strong, in fact.
And, while some of that is the vast level difference, a lot of it is due to sheer talent. Since the royals are a lot more talented than these Successors.
Of course, the Successors can gain Successor Skills that can make up for that in the future. But they don’t have those yet.
As for what exact powers the Successors of Virtue have? That’s… pretty strange to see the Black Enforcer using.
It’s really weird seeing someone whose main powers are shadow related using a bunch of virtuous, beautiful, and flowery powers.
Anyway, I continue watching them as they solve the puzzles one after another. With Leo still dealing with the enemies who try to take on our own temple in the meantime.
All the way until the event finally comes to a close with a rather overwhelming victory on our part.
