Alexia
You have now entered your half Completed True Form as a Quantum Reaper.
As the sole Quantum Reaper, you have one role to play.
The Reaper of Reality.
While in this form, you are given five special Racial Skills.
Additionally, as a Devourer with half of your core completed, you gain one additional Racial Skill in this form.
These five skills are as follows:
Soul Reaping:
With every swing of your scythe, you take a chunk of the target’s soul out and feed it to the universe itself. Therefore any damage dealt with the Reaper’s Scythe is unhealable, regardless of what type of damage it is, who is trying to heal it, or what the damage is being done to.
Only the Reaper herself may revert the damage with her own hands.
Note: Restrictions have been revealed since completion of your True Form. Restrictions including the inability of this skill’s effect being applied on other Quantum Beings without resistance towards their quantum energies.
Corruption Immunity:
As one of the Quantum Beings holding a role to the universe, you are fully immune to the corruption of the other side.
Living Singularity:
You are one of the sources of energy. A living singularity. All energy in the surroundings will be drawn to you, made to enter you, and feed your soul.
Special Quantum Resistance:
You are the Reaper of all. This includes the Quantum Beings. Therefore you are resistant to the special role-specific quantum energies of each of the ten other roles. However, as you are only six-tenths complete, this skill is limited to just a resistance towards the energies of the Role Trials you have completed.
Current Role resistances gathered: Quantum Architect, Quantum Scribe, Quantum Cleaner, Quantum Archon, Quantum Balancer, Quantum Enforcer
Quantum Resonance:
You resonate with the quantum energy around you, stabilizing reality itself and making it more difficult for other beings to alter reality around you.
Quantum Devouring:
As both the Quantum Reaper and a Devourer, you passively devour half of the quantum energy used against you, adding it temporarily to your own pool of energy.
Additionally, six-tenths of all special role-specific quantum energies of the other Quantum Beings, limited by the Role Trials completed by you, will be passively devoured as well.
Okay, there isn’t really anything new in the notification. Just the addition of the Quantum Enforcer to the number of devouring and resistances.
I narrow my eyes before quickly absorbing energy from the Quantum Realm here to refill my tank. Then I spend a few hours or so to let my wounds all gradually heal. All the way until I’m nearly perfect condition again. Even without reversing time on my body.
And once I feel that I’m ready to fight again, I finally leave the trial tower. Only to find the tower’s surroundings completely devastated.
The very reality around the tower has holes ripped in it, along with cuts and gashes all over the place. There are even large chunks of reality that seem to have been carefully dissected out of reality itself and thrown off into the distance, with damage done to them almost as if the chunks of reality crashed into something.
Meanwhile, amidst all of this, I can see the Quantum Enforcer attacking Zal. With Zal being pushed back and clearly struggling.
I rush forward to block one of the Quantum Enforcer’s attacks right when it’s about to hit Zal in the back. Taking the attack with ease with a barrier of quantum energy.
All thanks to the resistance I’ve now gained to his energy drastically reducing the amount that actually hurts me by eighty percent, with half of the attacks refilling my own energy. And when the Quantum Enforcer moves back after my attack, he shows an incredibly angry expression. One I never saw during the trials.
He turns to Zal as he practically growls out, “Now you’ve done it. If she continues like this, she will become a threat to the universe. And it will be your fault.”
I can’t help but roll my eyes at his words that sound almost like a sore loser whining about losing. What’s more is that he actually tries to leave the area now. Clearly understanding that he doesn’t have a chance against me now that I’ve cleared his trial.
At least he isn’t completely stupid.
Zal suddenly grins before he spreads both of his arms out and lets out a large wave of quantum energy. So much of it that it blinds me and likely the Quantum Enforcer as well.
Then, when the wave of energy dies down, I find myself, along with the Quantum Enforcer, both sealed inside of a large constantly shifting cube. And instinct tells me that I can’t get out of the cube through Quantum Displacement. At least, not easily.
Which is surprising, considering that Quantum Displacement is my strongest skill.
But the seal isn’t the only thing that I find surprising, since I can tell that there’s some sort of lock placed on the Quantum Enforcer himself as well.
“Since you want to battle so much, how about you stay and fight,” I hear Zal’s words echoing through the cube. And I can’t help but notice that he sounds very smug as he says that.
Something tells me he wasn’t very pleased with how his battle with the Quantum Enforcer was going.
The Quantum Enforcer grits his teeth, pretty much completely dropping his previous stoic indifference at this point. But I don’t really care. Because I’m also rather ticked off by him.
Although I’m more pissed at his clone in the trial than him personally, since that trial was a close one.
It may actually have been one of the hardest trials I’ve cleared thus far.
I grin as I summon my scythe and rush straight up to the Quantum Enforcer before slashing it down. And even though his blade moves up to parry my scythe, I just end up recovering energy from the clash instead of losing any. Since I barely use any energy in my swing while he does use energy.
“Let’s see how long this battle takes,” I declare with my grin growing wider at the sight of the dark look spreading across the Quantum Enforcer’s face.
