Far Away from the Battlefield

One Quantum Being after another gathers together to watch the battle occur. But not a single one makes any move to stop what’s going down.

Not only because the majority of the Quantum Beings have at least one grudge against the Quantum Enforcer, but because every Quantum Being understands perfectly well that the Quantum Enforcer brought this onto himself. So he has no one to blame but himself.

Even the Quantum Vanguard has no interest in trying to eliminate the Quantum Reaper. He may have some interest in fighting her, but none in killing her.

Not anymore.

Not after witnessing her fight against the Quantum Enforcer.

He knows that won’t work, after all. The Quantum Reaper has too many methods to escape, and after she clears his trial, she will be able to dominate him. Just like she’s dominating the Quantum Enforcer right now.

And the Quantum Vanguard has no interest in going straight to his death, even if he loves difficult battles and views her as a threat.

All of the Quantum Beings who care aside from the Quantum Enforcer are familiar with Alexia’s personality at this point. They all know that she won’t attack them if they don’t attack her. And the remaining Quantum Beings who are not familiar with her do not care one way or another.

More than that, the Quantum Vanguard despises the corruption and was already planning on continuing to do his job regardless of the universe’s control. Even if he has started taking more breaks now than he used to.

And he knows that, by the time the corruption is completely eliminated, the Quantum Reaper will have already cleared his trial. Which makes his previous plan of dealing with her after the Corrupted One is dealt with impossible.

So he throws that plan out the window without any hesitation. Switching views at the drop of a hat as always.

And the Quantum Cleaner, the other Quantum Being with any prior conflict with the Quantum Reaper, also has no interest in ditching his job. Despite how obsessed he is with his gaming.

At worst, he’ll do it a little more infrequently than others would prefer.

So the remaining six Quantum Beings simply watch as Alexia gradually begins to beat down the Quantum Enforcer. Shattering the man’s ego in the process and bringing him closer and closer to his final resting place.

All while the Quantum Scribe records everything for the universe’s records.

Within the Quantum Ruler’s Throne Room

Silence fills the throne room as the Quantum Ruler sits on his throne. His entire body has visibly recovered to the point that he appears without any wounds, but despite that, he is still completely crippled and barely able to get up from the throne.

Not that he would want to as his mind is even more crippled than his body. Since the many personalities he had built up to follow the orders of the universe with his sanity intact all shattered the moment the universe’s will shattered. Leaving his mind fragmented in the process and struggling to recover.

And yet, despite that, a screen can be seen floating in front of him. One showing the battle between Alexia and the Quantum Enforcer.

The Quantum Ruler’s dead eyes gradually move to look at the screen before staring blankly at it. Completely unmoving all throughout the course of the battle on the screen.

Not even the sight of the Quantum Enforcer being cut in half and then reversing time to restore himself before flying snaps the Quantum Ruler out of his blank stare.

He just keeps staring for hours as the battle rages on. Not moving in the slightest.

Within the Sealed Space

The Quantum Enforcer made a mistake. Possibly the biggest mistake of his entire life.

He’s known since the Quantum Reaper was first formed as a role that the universe wasn’t messing around. That it’s a role meant to oversee the other Quantum Beings and dish out punishment should it prove necessary.

Even if the punishment she deals out is slaying a Quantum Being.

He knew full well that she would become strong enough to do it. But he hated the idea.

All the way until the moment he decided to attack her upon seeing her power proven with his own eyes, he’s hated it. Hated her role.

That’s why he decided to stop her before she could become a threat to him as well. Even if he only managed to keep her from entering the trial tower and finishing her True Form, he would have been satisfied.

But even that plan was ruined by the Quantum Architect’s interference. And now the Quantum Enforcer regrets his actions as the Quantum Reaper splits him in half once more with her scythe.

He made a gamble, and he lost it.

Now he has to bear the consequences of his actions.

He understands that better than anyone as the Quantum Judge.

Even so, he continues to fight for his life. Fighting for the last potential way to survive.

Stalling long enough for the Quantum Architect’s seal to run out of energy.

That’s all he can do now.
