Somewhere Within the Quantum Realm

Silence fills the quiet place the Quantum Builder calls home. A large, but not too large, cabin with a special dimension around it holding his favorite ambiance.

All around the cabin, the occasional chirping of birds mixes in with the light rain amidst the large trees covering the cabin. Meanwhile the Quantum Builder, also known as Reltfar Vlictir Von Relan, sits comfortably on a recliner with his eyes closed and a record player softly playing slow and quiet classical music.

After the corruption started spreading across the universe at a much faster speed, he hasn’t been as busy making new galaxies. Because half of the new galaxies he creates to expand the outer edges of the universe simply get corrupted, making the work he put in largely pointless.

It’s a little bothersome to him, but it also gives him time to rest.

And he knows there are good Quantum Beings fighting hard to counter the corruption. To eliminate the corrupted ones and clear out any corruption from the galaxies he has painstakingly created.

So, for now, he rests. Then he will return to fulfilling his duty once he has sufficiently rested.

During the middle of his rest, he finds a surprising sensation that has him opening his eyes. Then he lethargically waves his hand in front of himself to create a screen showing his trial within the trial tower. The one the Quantum Reaper is currently undergoing.

But despite seeing her tackling his trial, where she will have to defeat him and kill his older self to pass, he doesn’t feel any anger or distaste whatsoever. In fact, a small part of him wishes to help her with her trial.

Because she is the sole hope for the universe when it comes to dealing with the Corrupted One now that the Quantum Ruler is out of commission. And if clearing his trial can help push her True Form to completion, he is all for it.

He has no intention of becoming her enemy or the System’s enemy, so there is nothing to fear.

Right as he is about to contact the System to send her some information about himself, he notices another Quantum Being far away doing something similar.

The Quantum Creator.

He is also relaxing right now, since his own job requires the Quantum Builder to make the galaxies first before he can do it. But unlike the Quantum Builder and his relaxing ambiance made personally by himself, the Quantum Creator is relaxing in a hot spring made by mortals in the mortal realm.

Reltfar isn’t surprised. The Quantum Creator wants to get the corruption dealt with as soon as possible too. Just like Reltfar.

Maybe even more than Reltfar, considering the Creator’s strong dislike for bloodshed. A dislike that is even greater than Reltfar’s own.

Reltfar, while he does dislike bloodshed and is a pacifist, is more of a pacifist due to not wanting to ruin the galaxies he has created than not wanting the creatures to be hurt.

But the Quantum Creator is different. The Quantum Creator views all mortals as his own children in a way.

He can’t stand seeing them fight amongst each other, much less get slaughtered by the corruption or turned into corrupted beings themselves.

The sounds of rain hitting the windows amidst the soft music fill the cabin as Reltfar watches the Quantum Reaper study his fighting style. Then, after a few minutes of silence, he continues doing what he was doing before.

He sends the System a message, asking it to relay said message to the Quantum Reaper. One with details about how he fights.

All so she can clear his trial faster and move onto the next one.

The faster she grows, the faster the corruption will be put to an end.

After sending the message, he watches the screen a little to see her looking surprised on it. Only for the Quantum Creator to send her his own message, no doubt with more information on how to fight the Quantum Creator after the Builder.

Then Reltfar turns his gaze away from the Quantum Reaper, who looks more than a little confused by the unexpected assistance, and closes the screen. Letting his eyes close again after that to continue his rest.

Leaving the only noise in the cabin to be the sounds of music, rain, and chirping birds once more.
