Somewhere on the Planet known as Vigriada
Anglix Art Viterus pants in exhaustion as he glares at the enormous monster before him within the volcano’s crater. A monster in the form of an enormous snake with three heads and numerous craters on its back that spew out both lava and molten rock.
Both him and the monster are covered from head to toe in wounds, but neither backs down. Meanwhile the livestream chat watching goes wild with anticipation.
Because this battle is important for Anglix and the planet of Vigriada.
Very important.
This monster is the highest level being on the planet, so if Anglix manages to kill it, he will become an Official Pioneer and claim the planet for himself.
He’s been struggling for a while, and even needed some outside motivation to help push him along, but he’s reached this point. And he refuses to give up now.
Unlike many other Pioneers in the Alliance, Anglix Art Viterus is a prince. He is the prince of the Viterus Kingdom. One raised in the hopes that he one day became a Pioneer.
So he was overjoyed when it actually happened.
Until he realized just how difficult being a Pioneer was. Especially after he was placed on a completely volcanic planet filled with smoke and ash, with an ever persisting heat enveloping every inch of it.
A complete hell-scape for anyone to live on.
One with very few native humans, albeit an abundance of resources. Especially metals.
At first his viewers were mostly just people from his kingdom excited to see their prince as a Pioneer. But that soon changed when they saw him struggling. The viewership tanked for a long time before eventually skyrocketing again with Alliance-wide viewers once videos of his impressive power began to spread across the Alliance.
But before that happened, he struggled, and even saw people from his own nation talking badly about him due to that.
The nobles were especially harsh. Treating him as a failure despite his parents love.
Back then, no one believed in him other than his parents. They all believed he would die on this planet.
He almost lost hope.
Then one video saved him. After seeing that one video, he found numerous videos about the same person. One after another.
Eventually he became a fan of the subject in the video. So much so that he’s asked his parents to get every collectible of them possible to decorate his room.
And just watching the videos that have been posted of them on the forums while also holding a promise that the moment he becomes an Official Pioneer, he will watch their livestreams daily, has kept him going. Through all of the pain and suffering he’s gone through, it has kept him going no matter what.
Anglix lets out a roar while leaping into the air with his great sword in hand, and a wave of flames erupting out from behind him. Meanwhile the monster hisses with all of its heads while making a large orb of green lava appear in front of it. One that it fires off to attack him.
The two clash in midair, with Anglix’ blade struggling to cut through the orb of poisonous lava for a moment before finally making it into the orb by a few inches. Then a few inches more. All the way until it reaches halfway through the orb and manages to slice through the rest of it and continue down to finally cut directly through the monster. Drilling through one of its heads to its body, all the way until it reaches the monster’s heart and cuts that in two as well.
Finally, as he lands on the ground amidst the massive gash made on the monster with blood and ash raining down around him, he finally gets the notifications he’s looking for.
The notifications confirming his levels, the death of the monster, and his officially becoming an Official Pioneer of the Alliance and System.
Anglix grits his teeth before losing the strength to stand and falling to his knees. But, even as blood and ash rain down on him and get into his wounds, the smile covering his face doesn’t fade away.
[You did it!!!]
[CONGRATULATIONS!!!]
[Now he can finally watch his fav lol]
[I still can’t believe a prince motivated himself to go through all of this just to watch his favorite Official Pioneer’s livestream…]
[He was watching all of the videos about her before she even became an Official Pioneer lol]
Anglix doesn’t pay much attention to the notifications for now, deciding to look at them later. Instead he immediately opens the System Menus for viewing other Pioneers. Then he finds his favorite and immediately opens her broadcast.
Only to find her struggling against a giant abomination of a monster nearly four hundred levels above her.
[Oh, wow… he’s already watching her lol.]
[Can you blame him? She’s fighting a Special Boss right now! I have both broadcasts open side by side!]
[Wait, don’t tell me…]
Anglix immediately enters Aqua’s livestream chat before sending numerous messages in Aqua’s chat. All filled with support and the type of thing only hardcore fans would say.
“Now begins my next goal,” Anglix says, speaking to his own viewers while collapsing down onto the ash-and-lava-covered ground beneath him. “To become a moderator in Aqua’s stream!”
[I should’ve seen this coming…]
[yep…]
[This is so like him lol.]
Anglix ignores their words as he grins wider than he’s ever grinned before while staring up at the sky, just watching Aqua’s livestream.
I should ask Mother and Father to reach out to Aqua for a business deal between her planet and our nation. Maybe I can even meet her! Would that be okay? Or maybe I should just treat it like a fan meeting? Yeah, a fan meeting!
