A brief warning, there are a lot of System Messages in this chapter for the Leaderboards results of the week.

That aside, I changed a previous chapter due to misunderstandings readers were having on Royal Road about the pacifist mode.

There were other changes too, but this is the main one:

◊ Seraphyne ◊ - [Be warned that the pacifist mode is only useful in the early days of the Multiversal Wars. There is no way for a user to tell if an Assault is sent with pacifist mode on, and even simply being attacked by a non-pacifist monster is enough to disqualify them for being safe through pacifist mode. After a few years, over ninety-nine percent of users are disqualified to be protected by pacifist mode.]

Oh. So it’s sort of like a transitionary mode for people to get used to the war. Or something like that.

Aidan

I feel a smile stretch across my face at the sight of the Title description in front of me, despite the discomfort I feel from being overstuffed. Because apparently that can happen. Devouring too much source mana at once.

[Silver Vanguard – As the first user to reach Silver Tier, you are the vanguard pushing forward within your galaxy. Holding this Title grants you an additional 5% to all future Victory Points earned.]

Nice! More Victory Points are always welcome!

I turn my attention to the two Legendary Loot Boxes that appeared in front of me with the Achievement. Both of which make me excited and disappointed at the same time.

Excited because it means a lot of stuff to devour and level me up further, along with a chance at getting a new skill.

And disappointed because of the dwarf guy who got a Unique Loot Box right after my achievement from his own Galaxy-Wide Achievement.

Although I am at least happy that the one the World Chat seems to be declaring the number one crafter in the galaxy is from the same planet as me, and even uses my Auction House.

I shake the disappointment away before walking up to the first of the two Legendary Loot Boxes and opening it without any hesitation.

[Silver Tier Mana Core – The mana core from a powerful Silver Tier creature that may be used as a power source for certain items.]

[Storage Ring(Legendary) – A ring that allows the user to store up to ten cubic meters of non-living items.]

[Bow of the Stars(Legendary) – A bow used by an elven huntress who was once aiming to become a goddess. However, as with all others aiming for godhood, she was shot down by the followers of the Heavenly God long before she could achieve it, along with the followers she was trying to raise. This bow creates arrows made of starlight that have a special lock-on effect and cannot miss their target. Holding it grants the wielder 30 points in Physical and 15 points in Magic.]

Hmm. Not bad, but not good either.

I call over a voidling to take away the Storage Ring. Because it can actually be useful for someone else. Like Rex.

Even though it’s useless for me, since I’d just end up devouring it.

As for the bow?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a voidling use a bow since seeing my very first voidling, so I just grab the bow and begin devouring it. Only to remember that I’m currently stuffed full.

After frowning for a moment, I have another voidling take it over to my office to devour later. Along with the mana core.

That mana core should be useful for making some more voidlings. Some Silver Tier ones this time.

I’m going to need Silver Tier voidlings to make it through the Labyrinth’s Silver Tier section, after all.

Now that I’ve opened the first Legendary Rarity Loot Box, I turn my attention to and open the second one.

[Silver Tier Mana Core – The mana core from a powerful Silver Tier creature that may be used as a power source for certain items.]

[Silver Tier Mana Core – The mana core from a powerful Silver Tier creature that may be used as a power source for certain items.]

[Random Monster Perk(Legendary) – Unlocks the ability for the user to send a completely random monster to planets at war with the user’s planet. Including monsters they have not unlocked.]

My eyes widen at the sight of the perk. One I’ve actually been pretty interested in for a while. Ever since seeing it available at the end of the Tutorial.

I just couldn’t get it at the time since there were more important things to buy with my Tutorial Points.

This could be kinda fun. Just sending random monsters mixed in with my usual monsters.

That aside, I didn’t realize I could get perks from loot boxes. So that’s a nice surprise.

I have voidlings bring back the two additional mana cores before turning my attention to my Assaults. Just beginning to brainstorm what skills I should try infusing into some of my monsters for the next Assaults once I can send them.

Up until now, I haven’t used that perk yet. But I want to give it a try now that I’ve got a decent set-up going.

At the very least, there’s one skill in particular I want to try infusing into my monsters.

The Unique Skill, Throne of Retribution.

Something tells me the skill will pass down to the blightlings from the broodmother, considering the whole ‘it passes to those with the skill holder’s blood’ thing. And since the broodmother is giving birth to the blightlings, that means they have its blood passed down.

Theoretically, at least.

I continue brainstorming until several System Messages begin to play out one after another the moment the clock strikes midnight.

◊ The rewards will now be distributed. ◊

My eyes narrow at the three different Leaderboards and their rewards, only to be quickly distracted by a bunch of loot boxes plopping down right where the Legendary Rarity Loot Boxes once were. Including one Uncommon, one Epic, and one more Legendary Rarity Loot Box.

Then more messages appear.

◊ All users qualified to participate in the World Council shall now be summoned. ◊

Now it’s time to meet the other users on the World Council.

Without any hesitation, I think of the several voidlings Rex suggested, including Rex himself, as my advisors. Then I’m teleported away from my System City.
