Aidan

A few days begin to pass as I split my focus between the other users’ dungeons from Furtruna and creating new voidlings. And over this time, I manage to make a few interesting variations of voidlings.

For one, I manage to make a broodmother that has a specific racial skill that gives it a hive mind that it shares with every voidling it spawns. Which makes for a really good lookout and scout.

Of course, its other racial skill isn’t all that good. Just some basic combat racial skill.

And a combat skill isn’t exactly useful on a broodmother whose main purpose is to sit in the back and be protected. Especially since the combat skill in question is a physical one that increases the damage dealt by the broodmother’s claws a little bit. Claws that it never uses.

Other than the broodmother voidling, I also manage to make a sort of pseudo mage voidling that fires off stingers made out of void energy through a racial skill. And I make another broodmother that has a very special racial skill that makes it immune to seventy percent of all physical damage, but also makes it so that all of its attacks deal eighty percent less damage.

Throne of Retribution also makes all of these voidlings have some damage reflection, since I always give the voidlings I create some of my blood. Which matches very well with the broodmother that is immune to damage.

I tested it out at some point, and the damage reflection still reflects damage based on the original amount of damage. Not the actual damage the broodmother takes after its immunity.

And, despite being voidlings meant for the back, the broodmothers are all pretty big and bulky. Even if they’re lacking in defensive and offensive capabilities.

Anyway, thanks to all of this voidling creation, I manage to bring my Profession to level seventy-five as well. To Silver Tier.

My Profession was a bit delayed getting to Silver Tier since I have struggled to find opponents near my level to devour since leaving the Labyrinth before the World Council meeting. But the items and cores I got from the leaderboards’ loot boxes, along with my time in other users’ dungeons and from making new voidlings, all brought my Profession’s level to Silver Tier.

So now I have both of my level seventy-five skills. The Profession and the Class skills are pretty good.

{Class Skill} [Void Storm(Mythical) – The Void Devourer can create a powerful void storm in a specific area that constantly releases bolts of void mana all around it while drawing the surrounding creatures into its depths.] {Class Skill}

{Profession Skill} [Void Swap(UNIQUE) – The Void Creator is capable of temporarily swapping positions with any of their created voidlings no matter where they are once every three days. The position swap lasts for a set amount of time determined by the user’s Mind stat, and it can be canceled at any time by the Void Creator to return the Void Creator and the voidling to their corresponding locations.] {Profession Skill}

This new Profession Skill in particular is rather interesting. Since it might actually let me do something special in the future. Once I get the perk needed to directly send creatures as monsters through Assaults.

I can’t help but grin a little at the thought of using this skill to swap places with a voidling that I send to a dungeon in the future. Then I can go around fighting enemies in the dungeon personally instead of just through sending monsters.

Now, the issue is that I won’t be able to do this for a while. Since the perk for sending creatures as monsters to other worlds through Assaults is very expensive.

It costs over a million Event Points to purchase the perk. And even after days of multiple Assaults being sent at the same time, my number of Event Points hasn’t even breached six digits yet. Much less over a million.

It’s not even close to six digits, in fact.

I only have a little over thirty thousand Event Points now. And even that is only because one of my dungeons managed to break due to it being too far away from all of those major players on Furtruna. So no one was able to stop it for a while, letting it destroy a couple cities.

After staring at the perk in the store for a few seconds, I shake my head and forget it for now.

There are more important things to buy right now that I can actually afford. That specific perk isn’t for the near future.

At least I don’t have to worry about having to save up ten million Event Points just to be able to go to the dungeon myself. Doing it this way lets me both save a lot of points and show up personally to dungeons long before anyone else in the Aqua Galaxy will be able to.

I’m pretty sure the Unique part about this skill is specifically the part in its description stating, ‘no matter where they are,’ which should work between planets.

Overall, I’m rather satisfied with my progress over the past few days.

What I’m not satisfied with is the growth of the orcs and zelbar. Since they have started expanding and also fighting against other races on Gaia again.

I’ll have to deal with them at some point soon. Although that might have to wait until after the battle royale.

Anyway, I turn my attention back to the Event Point Shop to browse what I should buy.

I have over thirty thousand Event Points, which is more than enough to buy quite a few things.

After considering for a little while, I eventually decide on unlocking the gates, roads, and the Adventurer’s Guild. Since the roads can be used to mark the path and increase the speed in traversing between two of my cities. Which also works as a shortcut for any city that happens to be in-between those two cities.

Meanwhile the Basic City Gate increases the security of my System Cities. And the Basic Adventurer’s Guild grants another source of War Points.

The description in the Buildings Shop shows that the Adventurer’s Guild is a place that is run by the System and gives out daily tasks to kill certain monsters. With completing those tasks giving War Points along with Adventurer’s Points. And the latter can even be exchanged for Event Points once someone has enough of them.

After spending a bunch of Event Points, I move onto opening the Building Shop.

Time to go on a War Points spending spree for buildings.

Bank of War is a must have

Aeonstorm

Thanks for the chapter! Looks like he has enough points to get all the buildings he wants. It looks like MC’s city will end up the trade and economy hub of the world

Abbi

Everything available only costs 220,000 points all up, although one should be considering that Basic Roads unlocks road-building, by the seems of it, which should cost points, and the first two have more levels behind them, and then Bank of War and having enough points for another dungeon should also be considered.

WolfWrites

That's only everything shown. There are countless other buildings not shown, as implied by the ... at the end, which he can select to expand the list. If I tried writing out every possible building I'd be here for a very long time, and the list would be longer than multiple chapters. That's why I made it this way, mentioning the ... that he can select the first time this menu was shown.

Abbi

Yes, but *surely* any unlocked buildings would be shown instead of a pile of locked buildings?

WolfWrites

The unlocked buildings he can afford are.
